Apparently it was in 2013 ye went to Scotland. I've been unfairly denigrating Taylor for wasting money on two first team trips in one season when apparently he didn't have any first team trips last year.
Last year was Spain year before was Scotland.

Why do people keep saying this? Did people actually think that fans and businesses would flock to games because we have a good under 7s team or something. People care about the first team and first team only. The only way you get fans and businesses out to support a club is with a strong first team. And whether he likes it or not all his other projects will go bye bye if the first team was to go.
And as for people thinking the underage thing will help us, the closest I have seen to a player good enough for first team football is with the under 12s.
We both know that it's only success that will bring fans but over the years teams have spent money to be successful and bring in fans and usually when it goes tits up the first thing that is said is that money was thrown at the first team and no structures or underage put in place. Pat has tried to do it the other way as well and that, as it stands, hasn't worked either
The problem with underage structures is it can be years before you reap the rewards. Years that most LOI clubs don't really have.

Well, I suppose he did try the dual approach early on but ultimately Taylor didn't deliver value for that budget, or it didn't deliver crowds to justify sustaining it either.
