Yes it has been a brilliant experience. Myself and a couple of lads in work are all planning to buy season tickets next year. Where else could you get such good value for entertainment and excitement of this standard.
Hmmm. I haven't seen the Dolan Out thread surfacing for a while. ;)

Yes it has!

Red FM: Win lose or draw it has been an absolutely brilliant season.

Pat Dolan: "yea.. i just hope its the start of something. I really feel that there have been other clubs competing against us that have been here year on year, have invested heavily as a football club, have the structures in place and I just hope we can reward the supporters for the away support we've had. the Rebl Army, I think thats been the story of the season. forget about the players, forget about.... you know the supporters we have.. you know... the way we get treated around this town, the goodwill towards us since i've come down here, the way the cork public have looked after me, made me feel at home, you know it makes me feel very proud and I'd just like to thank everyone on behalf of the players for their support because we do feel it, we love it and we give it everything every single day and we just hope its the start of something, because you know if we get things right we can have wonderful times here because you know what, this is the best football city in the country"

I like the sound of that!

PAT DOLAN'S REBEL ARMY! :) :ball: :ball:

Visited the club shop with the kids around 3.00pm. Staff looked exhausted. While I was there (less than 10 minutes) I counted 6 people who came to the door, all looking for 2 or more tickets. I reckon this is the first domestic soccer game in Ireland since CCFC -v- Derry City 2 years ago sold out in advance of the evening of the match.

Its 3.15am Saturday morning here in Manila, Philippines. That's 7.15pm Friday night in Cork. Only half an hour to kick off. Strangely, most of the locals here arent too bothered about the game. Time to open up 103fm like the rest of the exiles....
COME ON CITY !!! There could be dancing in the streets of Manila at about 5.35am.

Fu&k - Penalty harshly awarded - then saved and Caffery scores on rebound - is this the writing on the wall.

"Shocking Decision" according to Greg Allen

City losing 1-0 Caffrey, Hunt missed peno, he got rebound. Stokes is a dead man i'd say...

Shels are deserving champions - over the course of the season they were the best team although they nearly let it slip and secured the title with a 0-0 draw.

However what I do believe is that City are currently the best team in the League - let's get it together for next season - just a couple of signings, blood one or two youngsters and this time get off to the start necessary to sustain a season-long challenge rather than creeping up the standside late.

2005 - the 3rd Year of Dolan's 3 year plan!!!

Well done City on an excellent season. Ye can win the Premier next year. The trick is to have a shorter bad patch in 2005.

Hard luck boys. You can be proud of your finishing run though and UEFA Cup is an improvement on last season. Good luck next year. Hope you or anyone else for that matter wins the title and prevents Shels doing a Rosenborg.

PS-DOYLER IS FIT!!He didn't look it. After 20 minutes he was losing half a yard over most 10 yard runs, and that was never the case this season against any other opposition.

To be honest, I feel Dolan picked the wrong team.
I would have put Benno straight back in, and put Greg back to the left.
I also think bringing on Lopez was a nothing substitution, surely Fenn should have come on first?
Small quibbles though, a fine season, but we must try and strengthen the squad even more.
2 points from $hels was the reason we didn't win the league, even one draw at home against them would have won us the title on goal difference.
2 points from $hels who took 8 from us,
4 points from Bohs who took 7 from us and an extremely disappointing
5 points against Rovers who took 5 from us
just isn't good enough.
