Still no fixtures for some clubs on the T.S.D.L website for the coming weekend nor the weekend after. What is the hold up does any1 no? TSDL must be busy.....
The fixtures are up for the 13/14th and 20/21st (only 1 game on that weekend). Not sure what website you were looking at. Careful what you say about the TSDL

Yeah fixtures went up today... Seems to be little interest on this forum this year... Celtic B's seem to be flying it this year looks like they will go up, St.Kierans/Dualla/Suirside seem to be battling it out in the 3rd three very good sides, St.Micheals B or maybe Clonmel town B for the 2nd would be my prediction... What has happened to Cahir Park? is it because the cahir gaa team is doing well this year that they are lacking players - whatever the reason it would be a big shock to see such a good club in free fall... As for the premier once St.Michaels win there games in hand league will be wrapped up i Presume.. Any thoughts????

If Celtic avoid defeat when they play Michaels in January it may keep the league alive for another few weeks but if Michaels win it's hard to see past them. Not sure when that game is fixed for. I assume it will be January. Or it could depend whether Celtic have clocked up enough suspensions by then ;). (Only a bit of banter. You have to qualify everything you say now in case you upset some people )

Probably gone quiet here because it's becoming a one team league and getting a bit boring!! That's not worrying saints though, it's not their problem that they are a step above the rest. Hopefully town and Celtic can have decent cup runs to keep it interesting for a few teams, possibly Peake villa too who have good youths coming through again.
Relegation wise it looks like borris + 1 other. Borris are way off premier standard

1 team league thats a bit much yea Michaels won it handy enough last year and seem to of carried it into this season but there's no trophys giving out yet if Celtic beat Michaels when they meet then they'l be in the driven seat so theres loads to play for hopefully it'l go down to the wire.

If it's a one team league and saints find it too easy 'as they're a step above the rest' why don't they do a Nenagh and apply to join a more challenging league?

12/12/2014, 4:12 PM
Why would they?? They have all they need in south tipp and its a good enough standard to win Munster junior cups and fai cups from. Maybe Nenagh think they need to move to get to that level but saints are already there.
For what it's worth I think Nenagh are mad and Nenagh Celtic will be the big winners from that move.
And maybe it was an exaggeration to call it a one team league, I really hope Celtic can push saints all the way. It's been a while since town went four years without a league title, are they on the way back or will Celtic be in top for years to come??

That was an incredible result against Galbally who are in the 3rd tier of the Tsdl, surely the worst result in the clubs history? Fair play to Galbally, great scalp to take and to beat them by a cricket score, Villa youth team are flying though so no need for major concern surely?

villa seem to have taken there foot off the pedal once safety was secured, beaten again yesterday. but on there day, good and should be giving league a rattle if can keep everyone together in a couple of years.
i seen there youths saturday and have to say, they are good. strong in every position including the bench. themselves and clonmel have to play again which will decide the league, will be a right match.

Mourinho couldn't win the league with their Junior team, Alan Leahy, Padraic Fogarty, Aaron Ryan, Bannon, Derek Loughnane have all moved on, it's basically Ted O Connor, Mick Ryan and a gather up of Thurles Celtic players, the youths will be fine players and are being well coached but they will need time

The whole county is used to Peake having good youths sides, it's only natural for a town of thurles size. I wouldn't hold my breath on the club bringing through the youths with any great success. It doesn't happen

Just two games to be played bringing it down to eight teams. Clonmel Celtic v Donohill, Galbally v Slieveardagh. The two winners will join the other six qualifiers in the draw for the quarter-finals which will be made at a later date.

Very brief match report on St Michaels website. I wonder is it anything to do with the fact it was a terrible result for them? A bit more respect for Borris's efforts would have been a nice? It's always easy doing reports when you win.

yes siberian, i agree. i always log onto club websites/facebook for a report so i was looking forward to michaels match report as they are usually very good..."brief" is being generous but not to worry.
on the game itself, absolutely great performance from borris, a joy to watch, very dogged and disciplined. on a good run now i think thats a 5 game unbeaten run. could have won yesterday missed a great chance but as they say, you would take a draw every day of the week against michaels.
borris go to the complex next sunday whilst glengoole are in thurles, all big games now to avoid the drop. hopefully villa can get a few results again.
borris must have improved alot. Fair play to them on 5 game unbeaten run.
Has tipp cup draw been made for last 8

Describing a Town win as a 'shock' either illustrates how much Celtic have improved in recent years or how far back Town have gone. Who'll win? Toss of a coin.

Worst town team I have ever seen, and I won't say how long I've been watching junior football. Never remember a drought trophy wise like this and Tony scully, maybe Darren burns and John shanahan apart none of the current players would make any of the successful town squads down through the years.
I expect Paul scully to turn it around given time though. In saying all that it's a derby match on Sunday so wouldn't be suprised at all if they turned Celtic over. They are due a derby win.

Form goes out the window when it comes to derby games apart from the 5-1 before christmas last few games have been tight. Should be a crackin game just hope ALL players keep there head dont need any red cards only ruins the game.

Ridiculous post considering 60% of Sunday's squad were part of title winning town teams so they clearly did make successful teams haha, classic foot.ie post!! My prediction is stalemate and the lottery of penalties and the winning team to be knocked out in the quarters as both are lacking the real quality to go further

Dont think it'l go the full way first goal is so important. Dont agree either that the winner wont go any further home draw an avoid the big 2 an Celtic or Town can def put it up to the remaining teams.

Just read Liam Browne's report of Town v Celtic on Nationalist. It sounds like the most one sided 2-1 defeat you could imagine. So sad to read that Town were so bad and that they couldn't even get up for the battle. Obviously living abroad now I wasn't at the match so I shouldn't comment too much but when you read this, is very disappointing. Fair play to Celtic sounds as if they were really up for it and got a performance to match. I worry for Town

Liam Browne's report? He nicked that from Celtic website so it will be a bit biased towards Celtic. Home team normally responsible for report so I don't know what happened there. Town def second best last Sunday but I wouldn't be worried about them. They have a good set up and they'll be back. Healthy for the game in Clonmel to have 2 big and strong clubs.

Draw was fair result both teams had chances , not a great game but main talking point was performance of the ref , 2 reds n 7/8 yellows in a game that was tough but very competitive he was really out of his depth
