I think the only sensible explanation here is that you have developed a meth habit.

Meh, screw that anyway. Longford are one up. Harps have conceded another penalty...feckin referees.

Yeah but the good news is you can now get Harps at 1000/1 to win 3 nil.

Much the same as Sligo to win the league now then?

Finished 1-0 Longford. Apparently a shocking refereeing decision and poor goalkeeping from Conor Winn cost us. Becoming a bit of a pattern.

Wish Stephen O Donnell a full recovery. One of the best players in the LoI in recent years, still unbelievable that we could watch him play for a season down in Galway for a team that was really just cobbled together; full-back playing in goal and having only a couple of subs often, managed by Sean Connors etc. It seems that all the big clubs were unaware of him at the time, Fenlon let him go from Bohs I think?. Big loss for sure for Dundalk.

You conceded one goal... A penalty, that he very nearly stopped!

[QUOTE=pineapple stu;1748073]Red card killed the game in Sligo last night.
Up until the penalty incident UCD were comfortable. Sligo had not one effort on goal before this as UCD had two oppurtunities to score. Sligo are becoming a predictable side. When UCD pressed high keeper Clarke kicked ball out of play on a number of occasions. A false dawn from Sligo I think as once again they relegate prolific scorer North to bench and seem to have loss faith in young Maguire. Games away to Bohs and home to Pats will tell its tale for Baraclough.

Word is Craig Sexton was coaching a DDSL squad back in Dublin. Not so sure how accurate that is, but that's the word. They were playing in a toiurnament in the Oscar Traynor.
Previous bench names have been suspect with Athlone, certain players named on Extratime.ie for match days did not feature on bench. What is going on

Genuinely don't know if it was a shocking decision to be honest. I wasn't shouting for a penalty but the Harps players weren't going mad when it was given either. Poor enough penalty from Davy, side footed it pretty close to the keeper he probably should have saved it. Poor game, neither team created anything really but we probably shaded it. Pat Sullivan strolled through it again.

Sligo can't win the league, Nidge. But, hopefully we'll give Mayo a good run in the Championship.

Let what go? Being Champions? I don't think I will
Possibly you outflanked him, by the unexpected, sudden and devious ruse of actually stating a fact.
Yes, Pats are the champions and it's a worthy brag.

Easy against ten men, we will see how you fair against eleven next time out.

Nassau, are you suggesting an Athlone player was named on a team sheet when he was not not even at the game? Surely this is in contravention of League rules and a cause for disciplinary action?

Go on then, find that rule. I bet you can't...
Look out for goal of the season so far (Jason Byrne) and miss of the season (Chris Forrester) on tonight's Soccer Republic

All I've heard is the Extra Time update and they say it was reckless. I think he's been sent off a couple of times before for diving in as well?
Heard Rory Patterson and Shane McEleney suspended by Collins both players sat in the stand today. To many big egos in that Derry dressing room

He has. And it has been deserved. I'm only going on what others are saying.

The weird thing is Roddy got rid of those two and yet somehow there are even more egos in the dressing room than there were before.

One huge ego in the Derry dressing room doesnt leave any room for others! Problem for Derry and Collins is that he has been talking out of his arse more often than usual, and this being the job of his choosing and not one that was left over means he has put his neck firmly on the chopping block this time. Has there been cuts to the Derry budget from what Devine had? Bar fading in the last round Devine had Derry playing some great stuff, while Collins has reduced them to muckball.
