Just on the phone to Shelbourne and pitch is fine said they cant see it being called off. This will be my first away match (apart from Cobh or Waterford) since we beat them one nil end of season couple of years ago. Think its going to be a great night I know a lot of fellas in same boat as me driving etc up and lots of ex pats making it to this one. Great confidence.

That could rule out the debate of what pub we go to before the game anyway!
Remember on the exact same weekend last year we were playing Bohs and Pat Dolan had to get the game delayed for us as the bus was stuck in traffic. Somehow I don't think Shels would be as obliging!

shels have some drainage system under the pitch so the match will be on once the tolka river dosent get to it

I was talking to a guy in Fermoy a few minutes ago and he says there talking about closing the bridge fairly soon.
My colleagues here are suggesting Mallow Mitchelstown route.

Tipperary - Bad flooding on the N8 three miles on the Dublin side of Cashel at Ballyshehan Stud (http://www.aaroadwatch.ie/traffic/story.asp?id=58875)

This could hold us up badly.....

Fcuking ******s like!! When bohs are within 50 points of shels they'll show shels bohs but coz it's not two dubland teams they won't show it. I mean like this is a probable TITLE DECIDER LIKE!!

correct decision imo... will generate the biggest crowd possible.. surprised at ollie not jumping at the cash.. maybe extra gate is more lucrative.... on a **** night it wouldnt take much to sway your average punter into staying at home and watching the box... and we all know how city play when were televised!

The rain here in Dublins northside can only be described as torrential!
It's lashing down.

Well there was a new drainage system put in at the start of the season ...

If you remember we had to play our friendly games away and didnt have a chance to invite/drag anyone over for a bit of cash..

It never had to be put to use until now but if the pitch was in good shape and the rain was as bad as reported then something somehwere has worked!!
