any idea of a date yet exile, it's a busy period with everyone having work do's etc. I'd be on for it alright though.

dillo didn't think the venue was up for debate. tom o neills place! TRAMCO RATHMINES den back to your place, which goin by your location is fairly close by, to continue on until tramco opens again the next day. either that or could end up on ferry to holyhead to meet up with london party
Tramco is fine by me $Leon$ but it might not suit everyone. Not everybody you see has the luxury of living in a big fcuk off pad behind Tom O'Neill's renowned premises! I'll be letting no ****ies next nor near my appartment.

ANYWHERE central that's open late.
Not fussy but Rathmines is miles out.
even Whelans or the Village aren't as far out from town.

31/10/2004, 12:07 PM
village i love, i think it would be a great starting point for de night
Central starting point is a good idea.
After that who knows where life will take us...

right the village campgain has started

No I think we should stick to Tramco. The Village is a kip. Dillo and $Leon$ started the whole idea of a Christmas party and they want it in Tramco. Rathmines is just across the canal so anyone who thinks its miles out is just being lazy.

well a vote is the only fair way, i don't really like tramco. much rather the village and to say that its a kip is well off the mark.

The village has always been notorious and is noted for some unsavoury clientele. Tramco was decided upon some time ago. Just because you and Niamh dont like it is no reason to go against what Dillo and $Leon$ organised. If they agree to cahnge it then thats fair.

max just seen your havin a go at my choice of venue for the dublin bash. if my memory serves me correctly u said u've been banned from most places in rathmines. its time to bury the hachet max. u can always try to get in. rathmines is very centralits only 7 min 27 sec walk at an average pace from stephens green. i mean how central do u want? your place? max i started this whole idea of christmas party think my opinion counts these parties have turned out to be some of the most successful threads in recent memory. the village just doesn't suit the foot.ie crowd max. we don't have long enough hair and can't tell u who the next big thing in irish-alternative-reggee-rock-folk music is.

While I can't even say if any of us will turn up I feel confident that I speak for all UCD Fans when I say...NOT THE BLOODY VILLAGE. Most over-rated pub in Dublin.
Tramco, while crass and trash, is a much more acceptable alternative.

thank you. tramco is a big fav with da ucd contingent all right. max obviously just wants somewhere close to inchycore so he doesn't have to shell out on a taxi home. typical lonford man

rathmines is very centralits only 7 min 27 sec
Maybe in a taxi!
But I have been to Tramco for Christmas bashs there and getting home was a nightmare.
The Village was a suggestion - all I was saying, and Max was agreeing to, was that a more central starting point would be a better idea.

niamh i think we'll leave the child/children to play in tramco, the village for the grown up shin dig then
The xmas party will take place in Tramco Rathmines on Thursday night December 16th. End of story. :)

ohhhhhhh there will be two parties, one in tramco for the kiddies and one in the village for those of a more mature nature.
the people themselves shall pick which one they go to as we have free will after all dillo ;)
Max, I honestly think we should concentrate on one venue. This thing of splitting the party won't benefit anybody. We want one unified Foot.ie Dublin party. How about the Village followed by Tramco?? The best of both worlds.

Well done Dillo! Always the diplomat! So Mono it is, followed by Tramco.
Thank god you folks came to some sort of agreement, the situation was starting to look like the four courts in 1923. :)

The Village, grown up? Are you out of your mind sir? While I would never be one to praise Tramco (it's pretty awful but still a major improvement on that place). I'm not even that likely to attend but sheer taste and common sense force me to mock the concept of the village as an acceptable location.
Every student I know has the height of praise for Tramco. It is a smashing and vibrant nightclub, situated in the heart of Rathmines and caters for both young and the not so young.

Are you working for Tom O'Neill or Jenny and Eileen by any chance? :D Yo're doing some job at promoting that place. Nonetheless, I echo your sentiments.

what about the 18-20 crowd max. tom has implamented an age restriction of 20 years of age on the door how are the "kids" goin to get in?
if yourself and niamh want to go to the village on yer own go then. u try her max none of us "kids" will stand in your way.
Looks like this poll of The Jamaican PM's is telling us a thing or two about nightclub popularity! Don't see The Village getting much of vote!
I believe this poll is the best and fairest way in deciding where the party should take place.
Jeez guys.
I only made a suggestion, but going on the remarks of some people to each other...it isn't exactly an advertisement for happy times on the 16th.

It will be a happy occasion Niamh, I promise. Sure you already have a suitor in the shape of Max. Ye'll be courting by Christmas and foot.ie's favourite couple by the New Year. :D
