Blimey another giant killing act by the Irish!!

Gibraltar have neither a Fifa or Uefa ranking!!

I suppose you could say it was a Rocky start by Ireland!!!

Wow, the team line-up included Holland, Whelan, Kinsella and Osam - is the FAI forging birth certificates en masse?

Two Anto's on the team, no less.

Balances out nicely all those exotically named players who are also coming through.

Just a question. When you look a the general make up of the u15, u17 and u19 teams where have all these players with exotic names gone?

Was only thinking that yesterday. We still had Dimaio and Baba for the u-19s yesterday but I'd like to dig out that article Emmet Malone wrote last year and see where some of the other lads have gone.

http://www.gazettegroup.com/sport/poame-agrees-sunderland-terms/

Jean Yves Poame has signed for Sunderland anyway.

The rest of the lads mentioned in the original article would all still be very young.

77 mins and then 80+2 mins equaliser. To concede late once is unfortunate, twice / three times downright careless.

that's 3 goals conceded in the last five minutes of two different games (VS Serbia and Georgia), costing the team 4 points.

According to Marc Kenny, we were the better side throughout but couldn't really break them down. Both teams were through already so all Scotland had to do was avoid losing and they'd top the group.

...by virtue of a 1 goal superior GD. It was only Gib and Faroes we both beat so it'd have been a disaster if we didn't get through, but credit where it's due.

Had a look at his twitter too and there's little hints of what his connection is. Pure speculation but the pic with the lads on either side of him strikes me as his Irish cousins that came to watch him play for Ireland. More speculation but this looks like an Irish granny: https://twitter.com/MTabi10/status/580101066802524160
