I thought Dan Murray was very good last night. The only complaint was when he Hoofed the ball when under no pressure in the second half. He cleared his lines every time and thats what he there for. It's no coincidence that we have the best defensive record in the league.

City supporters love to have a player to hate.

I agree with you all the way Harry Crumb. I just don't understand this negative sentiment towards Dan Murray. Yet again he had a solid game last night. OK he made one or two mistakes - just about as many as a few other City players and a lot less than some. We have the second best defensive record in the league - 25 goals conceded [only 1 more conceded than Longford]. Dan has been ever present in the side so this speaks for itself. :)

I think Dan has been very poor this season, but he did much better last night.

i'd certainly like to see coughlan feature soon, to dan under pressure. it might make him perform.

Competition is needed for every position. All fans know what a good player Dan can be, but he hasn't had the best of seasons so far.
It does annoy me though when people seem to have a witch hunt over certain individuals.
I don't like every player playing in the current team but I won't stand on the sidelines and roar abuse when he's in a City shirt either.

thats it exactly. no harm debating a guys merits on here or in the pub after the game, but screaming ****e at him the minute he pulls a jersey on is just pointless. as for siging coughlan, we need the cover/competition badly alright
