Want to wish the Pearse player a speedy recovery after last sundays match. Nobody wants to see an injury like it happen to anyone. From all at Carrigtohill United Football club.
Pearse would like to thank all involved with Carrigtohill for everything they done yesterday they couldn't have been more helpful. The player is doing well hopefully he will make a speedy recovery. Thanks again.

Bweeng 1 - 2 Knocknaheeny Celtic. Very poor game, our worst display this season but can't complain with the result, roll on Ballincollig this Sunday. Keith Cal & Steven Gostl with the goals.

Yes there is, all makes for a good season.
I'm a bit surprised we are playing Glenthorn again so early, the AUL usually like to keep these games for end of season but to be honest we are happy to play them to get them out of the way. Ballincollig are in our thoughts first though tomorrow.

pearse B 1 v 2 crescent pearse took the lead through dave o connell and crescent after the break got two great wonder strikes the man in the middle was very poor to be honest in a way he spoilled the game !!
Lost 4-3 to Afton Villa today, taking nothing away from villa with the next comment, but I've had enough of some of the referees. We as clubs all make the efforts to train one maybe two nights a week from July up until May, along with not having a social life at the weekends because of games. We are dragged from South cork to north cork to play games on Sunday mornings etc, which is no prob (all part of it), then you get this ref who doesn't move passed the centre circle for the game, makes decisions based on assumptions and goes away with fifty quid in his pocket. The ref robbed us blindly today. A free kick for a handball that hit a fellas face, allowed a goal stand when their player was literally standing on the goal line when the ball was passed forward to him and he tapped it in. It's days like this that make me seriously wonder why we bother at all. It seems to be happening this season a lot more than other seasons. I don't know if some of the decent refs have moved on or if the ref standards are getting worse.

Good team performance today away at Castlelack. Goals from Jason Daniels, Joe Harte (2), John O'Mahony, Stephen Gostl and Johnny Cal gave us a 6-0 win. Pearse B away next week in the Presidents Cup quarter final.
Also, we had problems with our pitch last week and the lads were very upset that the game didn't go ahead against Glenthorn.

It's a bit strange alright as to why there aren't any fixtures on the weekend of 21st and 28th etc .. 2 weeks of eating and drinking could lead to a lot of training come January .. Ha ha

You'll definitely need the friendlies .. No point in not doing a bit .. Every team will want to play I'd say !
