FAI tix for France

lady in FaI said tkts were sent thursday/friday by registerd post!!

Fingers crossed - still being in other parts of stadium will still be good!

I just gave them a bell, got my Faroes tickets today, but no sign of the French. Anyway, gave them a bell, and they said french tickets are on the way, so looks like they are a little behind, so I wouldn't panic yet. If come monday and still no tickets, then its panic stations!

What organisation! you would think getting French tickets out was a priority before even thinking about the Faroes game.

Got mine by ornar'y post on Friday ... €22 yoyo a pop ... makes home international prices a bit steep considering the facilities in Stade.
Speaking of which I heard they have loads of 'beer tents' outside the ground for rugby internationals which cold come in handy for a 9pm ko

What a debacle i have had.
My CC expired at the end of August so last Wednesday I took it upon myself to ring the FAI, the girl brought up my details and entered my new Expiry Date, grand.
In the mean time the FAI had sent me an email asking for new details so I replied to the email with the new info, just in case.
Thursday some young fella rang me from the FAI saying that my Expiry Date had expired and that he required the new info, I said I already had provided it twice but went along with the rigmorole all the same.
He then read out my CC number to me to be sure and he had the last digit wrong, so we corrected that and I left him off hoping all would be well.
10 minutes later the same chap rang me back wanting to know tha last 4 digits of my CC again.

So here I am on Monday with no tickets and no money taken from my CC yet, I'll have to ring them again today.
What a f*ck up of an organisation.

Me and 2 mates have been planning the trip for months. We decided to go through Slattery's to guarantee us 3 Irish tickets. They sent out 3 tickets for the North stand amd won't exchange them for Irish end tickets. One of us is a block booker and got 5 tickets through the Fai,but on my advice he sold 3 to someone in our local club. So now we've only 2. If anyone can help they can contact me at

They've beer tents outside Lansdowne Road for rugby games too; when have you ever seen them at football internationals?

Very same thing is happening to me razor...
CC expired at end of August...have been onto fai THREE times to tell them this...was told on Thursday that tickets would be posted that afternoon..
..and here we are at almost 3 o'clock on Monday not a cent has come off the CC. :mad:

Just rang them there again but only got voicemail....JOKERS.

What a sham of an organisation that is the fai. My cc was stolen a while back and i emailed one of the girls in the fai with my new card no etc 3 wks ago. I then got an email back confirming my change of details, so i thought great sorted, until last tuesday i got an email from them saying my my cc was not in order "suprise surprise i've rung them emailed them and have got not a response. Thankfully i had enough kop on to hold onto the tickets i got for the french end. I really have no faith in this organisation.

how big is the irish allocation..i have seats in e3 from the fai...has football association of ireland on them...

was chattin to few of them in there today! upstairs said all tkts were sent registerd!! downsatairs smiled when I told her this!!! got phone call later off another one : they had my name completely arse ways - back to front or something!!

all fun and games in there in merrion sq - think I might apply for a job- sounds like great craic in there!!! (wonder do they have someone on a PA announcer .....lets all **** up today FAIreland ... lets hearthe Lansdowne Roarr!!!")

Me either,still no dosh taken from my account and heard nothing from the FAI...couldn`t get through on the phone either...agghhhhh....
I`m in Sweden so it`ll take a day or 2 longer in the post......Knowing my luck they`ll arrive next friday morning when I`m already on the plane to Paris! :confused:

Still no word from the FAI but happily there were 2 tickets waiting for me when I got home last night.

Still no money taken from my Credit Card but i'm not going to complain about that.

Have been onto the FAI about 6 times since I was told I had 2 tickets....eventually heard back from a bloke yesterday evening...
Because of their f*cking around it's now too late to post the tickets so I have to go in to Merrion Square today & collect them...good job I live in Dublin...although I wouldn't be surprised if there's another twist in this ridiculous saga... :confused:

Would you believe that the FAI ticket office is closed today .... I paid for two tickets which did not arrive .. paid for flight to get to Paris and I have no way to contact them. Luckily, thanks to Barna Bee and the others on this site who first broke the news about where to book tickets on the French websites, I have a backup ticket.

Eventually got through to reception, and was told to contact some rep tomorrow at the hotel they are staying at in Paris. Of course, they are only there until 11am and I arrive at midday at CDG.
