Not really, just a statement of how grim our record against 2nd and 3rd seeds has been since 2001.

I didn't notice any typos Drum, it was a very well written and entertaining account of your adventure. And 'am glad you spent a good chunk of your available time getting an experience of recent Bosnia history. I was curious for a long time about about how it all came to be and am currently reading up extensively on WW2 in the Balkans, much on Sarajevo and post war Tito.

From your pics it looks like you were only a few feet away from me. Amazing scenes. I took some great videos with my phone.
I had a super day. The train was only 90 mins from London. I got to my hotel 5 mins walk from the Eurostar station, 1 min from Gare Lille Flanders.
After checking in I out my running gear, headed to Parc de la Citadel for a 6 mile run along the river and canal, where about 20 Irish camper vans were parked.
After a shower I went to the cafe next to my hotel, ordered Steak Filet Americain thinking it was the best they had. It turned out to be steak tartare which I hate. Chips were nice though.
Crafty and Tets then joined me and we had a few beers before heading out early by taxi to the stadium to watch the Portugal v Hungary game in a bar next to the ground.
I ordered a lager but was given a Flemish blonde beer which I usually like but this was rancid. Next time I made sure I asked for the right thing. In my best French I asked for a Kronenberg. Blank look in response. Kronenberg. Blank look. Another punter tried to help me. Blank look. I grabbed a glass and pointed to the Kronenberg logo. Ah, Kronenberghh? and a shrug as if to say "why didn't you just say?"
I mean is Kronenberg in my best French really that different to Kronenberg pronounced by a French person?
Anyway, things got better and the rest as they say is history.
