Think the macroom castleview game was off cause castleview ad a team playing in the national cup so I've been told.called off or walk over kid ?just my opinion it dont matter whos after who bud.

i think the mighty castleview couldnt get a team together this league is becoming a joke to be honest .aul go after a club like kilumney and this goes on .
The mighty castleview that's a bit harsh 1 for they had there youths in the semi final of the fai cup so I don't blame them for calling it off.

there's more than 1 team in most clubs and if a team in your club reaches such a big game like a national cup semi there shouldnt be a punishment for supporting ur own wouldnt happen in other leagues or sports there,s enough games called off in the aul every wkend you'd have to question the aul for giving them a game on that day bit of common sense and u dont have this issue which affects other clubs in and around springfield

Horse you are always one to answer honestly so tell me this. This player was called in to be investigated by the AUL after the clonmel game. Are you telling me that they didn't know he wasn't signed & as soon as he played against castleview there wad a random check on the match card & we got “caught". The fact is this. The AUL were annoyed they couldn't punish us over the fai game. The fai didn't want to bring it further & neither did clonmel. So they punished us the best way they could. They took 3 points off us for playing an illegal player. I just find the whole thing baffling to be honest. But its done now. I have said my piece on it. Dont agree with it but what can we do. Im lost. I thought the punishment was because he hadnt signed 14 days before the FAI game, so if they cant punish you in FAI, it moves to next league game. In this case, with ye gone from FAI, I would have thought ye would have been hit with one of the OTT fines the FAI cup gives out. Have I the story wrong?
If its for the Castleview game, where are Castleview's 3 points? Are they still applying that rule where if they catch you, no-one gains? If a guy is illegal, it shouldnt matter who catches him.

As someone said previously I don't think any team will be relegated from Prem. I fancy at least one team from what I'm hearing if not 2 to be gone next year! AUL need to bite the bullet

Looking at the fiasco with kilumney this week I really think that will be the straw that broke the camels back! Teams are right too want too test them selfs in the MSL.better facilities,better teams, higher standerd of football etc.lots of people claim the Prem is as good as senior i just don't buy into that.looking at Kinsale Leeside and Wilton shows this in my opinion.now I'm not trying too get the MSL v aul debate going again as my hat is firmly in the MSL cornor but the likes of park coachford kilreen would be great additions too MSL

Look at Wilton! - They are going straight up.............with a younger squad! Leeside are taking one step sideways for two forward. Kinsale in rebuild too since the re-emergence of Bandon. Park yes - Coachford Im not sure - lots of City boys so would it help their underage? - The Togher/Ballyphehane area could and should have another MSL side.............but does a strong Kilreen mean weak Casement etc so what would MSL gain?

I agree horse. Hope the AUL don't lose teams but the likes of Kilumney, Park, Coachford, Pearse would all be top half of MSL Div 1. Some very poor sides in MSL 2nd Division.

I'm guessing it has nothing to do with the club personally. Just cause of who is gonna be in charge of them next year. . He holds grudges against a club and slates them and they could be the best club in cork not sayin the club I follow is

To be honest lads, i couldnt care less if Blarney St stay up, go down, or win everything next year. Its not easy taking control of a new team and trying to get new players in. Im sure Radio, Horse,Overthehill, and even leftside would agree that no matter what division ur going for it takes serious time, effort and dedication to manage a club/team for the whole year, especially if results arent going your way. Anyone who takes up a role in managing, fair dues to them ! Its easy to stand on the sideline and criticise being completely ignorant to the preparation that goes into training, gear, and match days for these guys.
Like him or not 1for has taken on a fresh challenge of dragging Blarney St back up the table, so to hope that Blarney go down is a bit petty to be honest. Lets not tarnish a Premier Club on here for all to see because of a personal difference with one club man.

When this came up at AUL AGM last year, we were told MSL refused to meet on the matter. Lets be fair here lads, most MSL clubs don't care about their junior sides so why should the league care about junior football?
