Yea disappointed the game was off but sure what can you do. It would have been, and still is a massive game for both teams. Boscos in with a great oppertunity too though with 5 home games remaining. Down to the wire though which is good to see. Good to see a league competitive to the end although the tittle is more or less decided. Although i think we have an outside chance, Leeview and Boscos are firmly in the driving seat.

well owl no one is in the drivng seat yet we all have games left and me i rather points on the board than games any day but one thing is for sure at least there a good competitive end for yourselfs leeview and boscos which is good for the league be looking forward to meeting ye down in yer place

Kilreen still have to play both Glen and Innishvilla at Murphys farm, that's a massive advantage for them, they have to be favourites with that run in.

Prem A: Quick review - only considering contenders games with each other:

Kilreen - Glen, Innish & Kanturk @ home
Innish - Carrig @ home; Kanturk & Kilreen away
Glen - Kanturk @ home; Carrig & Kilreen away
Carrig - Glen & Kanturk @ home; Innish away
Kanturk - Innish @ home; Carrig, Glen & Kilreen away

Looks like there is loads to play for here all 5 contenders have 3 games against contenders remaining except Kanturk who have 4 games so anyone can take points of anyone - I fancy Kilreen to take title but hope Innish can push them all the way and take one of the two spots in the Premier...

it might be better for the league if the glen dont go up as if 5 or 6 of their players go to blarney st next season it could leave a seriously weak team in the league which is not good for anyone.. kilreen and inishvilla would arguably be 2 great additions to the premier.. thats not having a pop at anyone but the league needs the strongest premier division possible
Was about too post this my self.glen a glen b and coachford will all lose players too blarney street!

So back to football . Few games down for Tuesday night how are the pitch's will games go ahead ? Innishvilla have a must win game at home to Douglas should be good game . Big game at bottom of Prem when Springers and Greenwood meet in Alsa Park . Springers need that win but Greenwood if lose could be in trouble a most win for both sides . Then at top of prem we have what looks like the battle for 3 spot between Pearse and Kilumney . Besides the Innish Douglas game you have Kanturk away to Leeds Gratten at home to Kilreen Carrig at home to Glen some good games in that lot .

I agree I'd fancy Kilreen and Kanturk to win other 2 games in PremA very tight Glen are 5 pts behind Kilreen with 2 games in hand they need to win but Carrig are a fine side and at home might be a big ask but if you want to win league their the games you need to win . Also Innish are 5 pts behind with 1 game in hand and still have to play Kilreen so if they can keep with in touching distance it might all hinge on that game. Kilreen took Douglas apart on Friday Douglas where missing a few and if their still missing I'd fancy Innish to take the 3 pts at home

Gonna be a good night of football, lets hope they all go ahead now. Douglas are a decent side, I was surprised how Kilreen were so dominant, I thought it would be a lot tighter. Douglas still have AOH Cup to play for so i'd imagine they will bounce back against Innishvilla, can't see them being rolled over, the way Kilreen did to them.
We have the Glen, and even though they are missing a few key players with suspensions, they looked as solid as ever last week also against Douglas. Gonna be hard to call either game.

The next week (3 games) will tell a lot:
Kilreen: Blackstone & Gratts away - leaving last 3 games @ home to Glen, Innish & Kanturk - a tough run in...
Innish: Douglas & Gratts @ home - Leaving Carrig @ home and away to Blackstone, Kanturk & Kilreen
Glen: Kanturk @ home with Carrig & leeds away - leaving blackstone & bohs @ home with bohs & kilreen away
Carrig: Glen & douglas at home, bohs away - leaving gratts & kanturk @ home with trips to bohs, gratts and Innish
Kanturk: away to glen & leeds, lots of games left - douglas innish & leeds @ home; bohs, carrig, gratts & Kilreen away...

Just my opinion

Some quality games there in fairness. All to play for in most leagues which is good. On the downside bad weather forecast for tonight through to Thursday. There's a big backlog. Gonna be plenty midweek games thrown in

hey lads been reading this for a while now good reading most of the time :) from the douglas club myself and having seen 2 of the contenders for prem a up close this wk have to say there s only a flick of a coin between em kilreen are unreal upfront its frightening the astro prob suited em aswell true we were missing a few in key positions and the run of fixtures we had 3 games in 6 days prob contributed to the scoreline but no excuses fine side and the glen also tough place to go fine footballing side we were in it first half tues night but second half they upped their intensity and the game sunday had prob taken a good bit out of us but again no complaints their meeting in murphys farm should b a cracker doesnt get any easier for us with a trip to inishvilla tom night another of the contenders our 4th game in 10 days (special thanks to the aul fixture sec :D) we re down to the bare bones at the mo but we ll be looking to get back on track especially with prob our game of the season thus far on sat night in the 2nd leg of the aoh fingers crossed we can get passed a very good ballinhassig side should have a few bodies back and we re in a good position after the 1st leg but after losing as many semis as u did over the last few years we ll be taking nothing for granted its going to be an exciting few wks ahead in prem a and to be honest i couldnt tell ya who i think will win it but i wont come on here saying i hope a team doesnt win it as was said about us and the aoh bad form.

Id like to see Innishvilla promoted again as well. They've a great set up below and play great football. They've had a great few seasons in fairness. A lot of young lads brought through in the past few seasons from their very good youth team of a few seasons back

I'll hold my judgement on that till after the summer..rumblings from the camp that alot of players are sick of the bad facilities and terrible refs and want too go back senior be it with killreen or another club.

a magician as well;) carrig at home to glen should be a good one, u would have to fancy kilreen and kanturk to win although gratten is a tough place to go now compared to earlier in the yeari like that word it has a nice ring to it ..games could be off tuesday.

there wont be a game for the week if this keeps up!! just back from a 7 a side there was puddles on the astro!! if kilreen did go up senior sher there going to have the same refs in there second season up. the 2 year switch will be up then so theres no sense too that. on the facilties thing i know its nice to have the option of a shower last 3 teams i played with garryduff castleview blarney st id say there was max 5 had showers i dont think that bothers fellas much. most aul players are so used to it now they dont bother using them when there available.

Total nonsense. There hasn't been a mention of us going senior. As for fellas complaining, it's a load bull****. If one fella mentioned to you in the pub that he was fed up with refs and facilities, thats his take on it and only his. Don't make us all out to be a bunch of whingers bud.
