Late equaliser for Madden at his former club Yeovil. I bet he enjoyed that after the way he left the club.

A first-half double has turned around a deficit for Scunthorpe at Barnsley and brought Madden up to 8 for the season.

New contract for Madden.

Hopefully his goalscoring form in pre-season ensures he starts the season proper in his preferred position.

At the risk of jinxing him, he's motoring along at the top of the League One goalscoring charts, after adding two today - let's hope he gets a crack at Championship level soon

I once had a question to Jimmy Greaves published by Shoot and received a cheque for £5 for the privilege. :o

Two more for Madden today, this time in the FA Cup - 12 for the season now and it's still early November

Scored his 50th goal for Scunthorpe at the weekend, in 140 appearances. Coming into a bit of form too, that's four in for four games, after only getting one all season before that. Scunthorpe top of League One at the moment.

Averaging 1 in 2 League games and probably near enough 1 every 90 minutes.
Took two months to get fully back into the team after an injury disrupted his season.
I'm surprised he hasn't been given more of a chance for Ireland. I thought he looked decent in his one appearance so far. No worse an impression than some of the lads who have been given several games (Sheridan, Cox, Sammon, Best, Folan).

Today the 13th time Madden has scored a brace in little under 6 years in English football.
The hat-trick is still proving elusive.

Has just scored a big goal at Bramall Lane in the League 1 top of the table clash, his eight of the season. Scunthorpe lead 1-0.
Edit- Sheffield United equalise almost immediately.
Double edit- Scunthorpe reduced to ten men straight after that!

3 games per goal this season which s exactly the same as his career average. He haad a higher aveage at Yeovil but that was league 2.
Hopefully Championship next season, however they seem to be flagging a bit lately.

I would've thought it was higher than that.
He has 1 per every 2 league starts this season and usually nets about 20.
Bar Yeovil in Championship and Carlisle at start of English career.

Two for Madden tonight as Scunthorpe defeat Notts County on penalties - better tonight for Irish goalscorers than last Saturday

Has scored in only one of his last sixteen league games.

Hat trick tonight for Paddy Madden, his first since October 2019
First half hat-trick for veteran (and former Bohs man) Paddy Madden. I make that his 16th goal of the season at the top of the table. Still doing a job. Good to see.
Madden is to Bohs what Sammon is to UCD (well really PineappleStu)

17th league goal of the season and 22 when you count his goals in the cup.

Signed by EFL 2 Chesterfield, who were promoted back into the EFL after a six-year absence.
