View Full Version : Week 5: Updates
You have watched the current sham goalkeeper at some stage this season ? Cork game for example ? Probobly the only area of the team where Bohs are stronger.
Must be worrying that your crowd are melting away despite your recent success but so,so much easier to blame the away crowd. Yep, its them away fans (at SDCC stadium) or its the "boycott" at shams away games.
How exactly can a steady increase in average attendances since we moved to Tallaght be considered "melting away"? As for comparing your two fat messes to Jansson:D

You poor deluded child, are you not enjoying your week off school? Any evidence to show our crowds are "melting away"? Anything i've heard from the people who'd know, is that season tickets sales were at normal levels, and the monaghan, and especially shels games were great crowds. But you just keep making up nonsense if it makes you feel better.

No, don't think so. Junior football is strong (http://foot.ie/threads/154027-Limerick-Premier-Division-2011-12). :good:
Some Bohs fans have said their performance deserved a draw. I'm saying thats rubbish.
fckin rights - we deserved to win.

Grand so, i'll take it that you've absolutely no evidence to back up your assertion that rovers crowds were "melting away" and that you're just an adolescent WUM.
BTW bit harsh calling shams a "bottom side" or is that a reference to something other than league position ?
Look, mb...the way it's going to be is as follows: The sooner you deal with being referred to as relegation-threatened, under fire manager, rock-bottom, hopeless, vacant manager position, strugglers, cut adrift, toothless, weak, unimaginative, linked with Roddy Collins, doomed, the sooner we can all move on.. :)
As the radio said on Friday, 'it is top v bottom tonight at Tallaght' - what a great bulletin that was, should get an award for it..

You are genuinely having a pop at a crowd of 4600/4800, or whatever it was?:D
You had about 800 in Dayler last week. By the business end of this season, your brave, LOI goal virgins will be playing in front of 300/400 people max.
They can't be lecturing Rovers fans about crowds, seriously?

As anyone that watched MNS last night (along with those at game or that watched live coverage) can confirm, long, long way from "sell out" crowds we heard so much about in previous years.
As realistic as the "evidence" of normal season tickets, steady increase and other spoofing about the crowds in shams latest rented accomadation. Still biggest crowds in the League but appears the novelty may be beginning to wear off ?
PS glad to see you can post beyond something other than schoolyard insults :o
This is hilarious.

So your answer is NO, you've no evidence at all???? You're just a total WUM who gets found out every time he tries to run down what Rovers are doing.

Evidence of what everyone saw on TV not enough ? (doctored TV again:confused: ?). What evidence have you provided for sham rubbish about Bohs support at SDCC ground declining ? or any of the other rubbish posted about Bohs/Sligo etc etc on here. Answer - none. Does that make you a WUM or are evidencial requirements dependant on who posts ?
Grow up and respond to points raised without hysterical name calling you mistake for an argument. Read the post (or have a grown up read it to you) and I acknowledged shams have biggest gates and QUESTIONED if the novelty was wearing off on the basis of apparently declining crowds (thats what the question mark denotes). If you want to disagree fine but cut out the childish name calling, this is not always-ultra forum.

I know you probably want to live back in 2009 as the last 2 and a half years have been incredibly painful for you but the last time Tallaght was sold out for a league game was in 2009, you know when we first moved in. There was only one stand for the first 6 months so half the capacity it is now. Almost every game we played before the east stand was built was a sell out and they would be again tomorrow if the east stand was knocked down. Rovers haven't claimed a sell out for a league game since 2009 so give over with your delusions about hearing about sell out crowds - you're either hearing things or your mind is living back in 2009, a lot has changed since then as you know.
Evidence of similar levels of season ticket sales this year compared to last year:
2011 season tickets sold by mid Feb 2011 http://www.shamrockrovers.ie/news/35-news/1807-season-ticket-no-2011-winner.
2012 season tickets sold by late Feb 2012 http://www.shamrockrovers.ie/news/35-news/2521-2012-winner
Might be a week or two in the difference in reaching the same amount of season tickets sold but shows we are still reaching sales other clubs can only dream of. There was over 5000 at the Shels game, 4800 at the Bohs game and our overall average was slightly up last season compared to 2010.
The recession is no doubt playing a part in crowds accross the league, thankfully we are continuing to escape the worst of it despite how much you would love our crowds to be collapsing marino.

Keep digging, you're just making yourself look even more of an idiot. Almost everything you post is an idiotic, ill-informed, bitter rant about rovers. And then when you get pulled up about it, you never have any evidence to back up your claims, and then throw your toys out of the pram, just like you did when you threw up your louis kilcoyne thread for a reaction. Like i've already said, you're a total WUM.

I think he got you with that reply in all fairness Sundance Kid. What you need to do, is go find Butch Cassidy and then the two of you can work on a witty comeback:meeting:
Rovers - 4317 (3,779; 3,794; 3,611; 1,468; 1,715; 1,089 FD; 1,539)

Not got to the class dealing with question marks in your school yet ? Oh dear. Adding new adjectives to your childish rant now, how clever.
As ever shams feel free to pontificate about every other club but any comment relating to their club is met with a tirade of childish slagging not seen since infants school. Accusing any other poster of idiotic, ill-informed or bitter posts is ironic given the rubbish you spewed out on this thread alone.
for your information I met Louis Kilcoyne RIP on a number of occasions while he was involved in Cork the FAI and Olympics Ireland. there was a lot, lot more to his career than his time at shams (though in your ignorance you probobly dont know it). The fact that so called sham supporters cannot even show a bit of respect for a man that spent thousands of his own money developing your club speaks volumes for the lack of knowledge of your own clubs history, but is hardly my fault. Despite your childih beliefs the world does not revolve around shams and pretty much every football/sports forum commented on the issue of his passing.
Another global anti shams conspiracy ????????????????????

Fair enough HH, accept your figures as accurate. If shams numbers are staying up (and not doubting it) then that is a very good achivement, and probobly at odds with general League trend.
For the record DFX was the poster that referenced 2009. Not sure what year he/she "lives in" so best you take that up with them directly .

.
Surely with Rovers, Cork, Sligo and Derry getting healthy crowds, and Shels also adding a few more to the Premier division gates, average attendances this season will more than likely be up a decent amount on last year?
