The bit about driving around with no insurance cos he thought GUFC were apparently covering it, but then went bust, and he didn't know he'd been had - one of those ironic #GreatestLeagueInTheWorld moments. A stint of Education may have been the saving of him, that was a good decision to have as a mitigating factor to be fair.Mister Gleeson of Bering's Bank? :P

You'd swear he wasn't a world renowned name that didn't have books written nor movies made about him. Well done Donegal Democrat. Even getting the name of the bank wrong is impressive.

The bigger story here is that he is now available to replace Bradley if the Rovers board pull the trigger.
They would need to provided a driver for him, but maybe Chris Turner is also available for that job?

Do you mean we employ drink drivers.
Eh not since dunphy in the 70's.
By your username I'm gonna deduce that your a Sligo or Galway fan.
Your team is known for employing convicted bank robbers or else british Para's, depending.

These 2 lines in particular are eye catching
Sean has significant experience in League of Ireland and we look forward both to working with him and to the completion of this deal in the coming days. It will bring certainty and structure to the Club’s affairs and will alleviate the current stresses around the club
Anyone who knows Sean will realise that the one certainty he brings to any situation is chaos. It's the environment that he prefers to work in. Buckle up Limerick folk, this will not be dull.

That's absolutely disgraceful in fairness. Headphones on at a football match? Get in the Shannon!

In fairness to him its good to see him back in football as in his early days he did well at Sligo Rovers and Bohs but rapidly went downhill after that!
Looks a lot like a John Gill type appointment to cover the badges requirement, but good luck to him. And more importantly good luck to Institute. It's gonna be, erm, interesting.

First game back in the Premier Division happens to be v Bohs, Connor getting fierce abuse from Bohs fans in the stand and him patting the wallet in the back pocket - one of those GLITW moments (as long as the rest of the season can be ignored!).

Sean’s time at Bohs would make a great book never mind a GLITW moment 😁 even by LOI standards some of the most bat**** crazy stuff ever.

In an absolutely shocking turn of events, Sean Connor has all of a sudden turned into a hypocrite

Connor appears to be on a mission to have Stute relegated this season.
And at the worst possible time too, with them seeking funds for a new stadium.
Gone from Stute, not surprised as they must be on a knife edge financially.

Surprised they kept him so long. Lots of departures from Stute over the close season.
Shipping 13 goals in your first three games, didn't look like it was going to work out.
