Alot of bad mouthing around the town tonite about Wembley pulling a fast one today,let me make it clear it was the LDMC who made a C**K up not Wembley Rovers.It amases me the amount of idiots in this town who mouth about things which they havent got a clue about,we have people in our club who have played and managed in limerick junior football for long time and deserve better,its sad to see big clubs in town with hangers-on bringing their good names down.

Just checked the MFA website lads in the comps.sect. and it says nothin about change of venue on the day.it just says that if a pitch is unplayable the home team lost advantage,simple as that.it states "When a game is not played at the 1st attempt at a venue because of ground or weather conditions, the game will be reversed to the away venue" presuming when MFA re-fix.

don't blame wembley,as if fairview were in the same boat they probably would have done the same thing.

dissapointed with the ref (who is one of the better ones) that he chose to be the centre of attention for this,as the ldmc tried to get a hold of him to bring the match to the fairgreen,but for some reason he was uncontactable(ten mins after calling off the tie in rathuard.

on another point,very surprised that pike were beaten yesterday...although having beaten st.mick's in the previous round they were always going to be dangerous.any report on this match

For me janesboro favourates for competion. tramore should make final if they avoid janesboro along the way. broadford in with good shout aswell , home draw to fermoy is probably handiest draw in the last 8. not saying fermoy are a bad side, but would rather face them than a fairview or clonmel etc

We beat Midleton 4-2 today. Went behind twice but came out on top in the end.
Good result for fermoy lst wk, deserved their victory. surface wasnt the greatest but there were two teams playing on it. enjoyed the game, but i wouldnt write off midleton, i think they will get better as the picthes dry out. Well done to fermoy and the best of luck in the next round.

fair assessment...to be honest for a team that took points off the boro recently,i expected it to be tough.
as you say,ye had an off day in a lot of positions.
fairview are at home next sunday to nenagh.
our 19's are playing that morning also,which coulod disrupt our A teams preparation as some of those players would be involved with the A team

We had high hopes alrite prawn but some of our so called better players let themselves down big style,ye pressured the ball straight from the off and im afraid we had lads just going through the motions.Yer movement off the ball is excellent tho and it will take a good side to stop ye,as for us some of players need to take a look at themselves because that performance was very very poor.
