None of us see everything that happens in training though lads. When it is close in the managers mind, he lets people play their way in. Not saying wrong or right but it is how he looks at it. Personally, I think competition helps. Maybe O'Dea has looked the bit beter than CC.

It depends where you are in exile!

www.espn3.com will have the game live in the US and ESPN Australia are showing the game live (6.45am Sunday morning). Otherwise, as suggested above www.myp2p.eu is probably the best place to start.

Bet365 has it too (and a whole host of other internationals).

Ya that might be true but clark is definitely quicker than O'dea and in match pace that is not seen in Training. Thats only a small part of it too though.

He is sounding more and more like Roy Keane the manager with his "how players work in training". I bet lots of established players have been outshone by newcomers in training and the newomers still don't get to play under Trap. You can get away with eccentric player selection when you are winning matches. When you have just collected 1 point from a possible 6 not so.

2-0 to Ireland.

Header from Kilbane arising from a set piece. And a second half Keane shin/shot special into the bottom corner after some good work by Duff

No, not after the last bullsh*t.
And sure, we're crap at them anyway....

We wont win enough games to 'top' the group, though we may not lose again....on the plus side.

Have we ever topped a group? Genuine question.
With all the talent we had early 90s with McGrath, Keane, Houghton, Quinn, Moran etc....I actually don't think we ever topped a group??

We topped our qualifying group for Euro 88 - its the only way you could qualify.

I'll go for us having more of the territory, but being pretty poor creatively. Either 0-0 or we nick one and they can't get back into the game.

1-0 to us.

A penalty.

Hope so after Robbie's uncharacteristic miss against Slovakia.

To be fair, in a post on another thread after that, I acknowledged that Walters wasn't available, once i read about it. I'll change Walters for McCarthy.

1:0 Ireland. (Delap 78, Long 108).

1st goal, Delap header from a Long throw in.
2nd goal a Long tap in.

By the odd goal. I can smell a 2-1 and the their goal being us caught on a break.
As usual it will be tense and I will be exhausted watching it and I'll be tetchy cos they still haven't figured the best way to let us out of the stadium at FT.

Can't wait. :)

I'm going for 2-1 to Ireland. I think that McGeady will score after 15 and Duff will score in the 57th minute. Pandev will score in the 68th and they'll hit the post in the 86th!!!
