Was talking to one of the prospect lads he was telling me that they have a couple of new players training with them for the last couple of weeks never mentioned anybody leaving only that these new lads would be signing this week.

Tierney is out of contract with Limerick. Last thing that was announced by the club was that he didn't want to enter talks about a new contract about 2 or 3 weeks ago. The club are entitled to a fee if another LOI club want to sign him. If he stepped down to junior i don't think a fee would be required.

Would be a pity to see him step back to Junior. He is a way higher standard than it and is one of the best players in the First Division. With him up front or on the wing Pike will win the FAI and win out the league handy.

Been said for weeks now these signings where more than likely happening.


Also i wouldn't think Clarke would just be for the off season cause it would rule him out of Limericks pre-season.

I stated it in the Limerick FC forum nearly 2 months ago that Tierney would sign for Pike, and Clarke and Lyons would sign for the Boro.............I also stated that B Ryan would be signing for Pike (this is tbc after Xmas).

Heard a couple of prospect A players on their way to moyross seems they have been tempted with a promise of a league and cup medal.
Dont think the prospect management will be too happy with that especially with a big match against kilmallock in the munster junior at the weekend.

Moyross have asked gooders and Johnathan summers to sign for them, Gooders has said no and Johnathan summers has asked for a transfer so he is going to Moyross, from what i hear the moyross players are not happy about players been asked to sign for them when they are 11 points ahead in the league

christy has told boro numerous times he will not be goin this year... darren may leave as he is not gettin on and i dont see where he will get on with star either... ian dore is geraldines through and through will not leave... trainin is suposedly bad the last month but reason for not trainin is prob work related and weather conditions are terrible to gettin to trainin... imo geraldines will get their act together after the new year and u will see them climbin the table fast... there a quality side no doubt

Just saying what I heard, christy o niell told the Dines numberours times also that he woundnt leave n look what happened, Darren Clancy out with a injury for a good bit during the season and would getin on with star no bother (star player told me this) and there was rumors at the start of the season that Ian dore was on his way to mungret so youd never know.
