Ramblers can consider themselves both unlucky and lucky after tonights game.

Unlucky not to have got at least a draw as they more than matched City for most of the game and the winning goal came from a deflected free.

Lucky that the Referee was in a generous mood tonight as young Peter Cuthbert could have easily been sent off for taking John O'Flynn down for the penalty. Had he gone who would have played in goal for the next game with Alan O'Shea injured. By the way Peter you had a really good game tonight ;)

The other thing to come out of the game tonight for me was that we played the game with 10 men as Alex Nesovic was there in name only. He lacks fitness, Brosnan ploughed a lone furrow up front until Dave went 4-3-3 moving O'Reilly up. Unless he gains an acceptable level of fitness that his team mates have then he is no addition to the club.
