Alan Kelly is clearly the best ref in the premier. No question at all.

I agree with both of you. I'd have loved if Alan Kelly reffed it on Tuesday. I'm just saying that the appointment of a Monaghan-based ref for a Monaghan match might be better understood in the context that the top-ranked refs in each division are sons of the Head of Referees. I reiterate, ONLY in Ireland.

He may be Monaghan based but he's from Donegal.. and given his job I'm not sure there's too much of a chance of him jumping straight onto the pro-Monaghan bandwagon to be honest.

Guys the Heads at be at the FAI are the ones to blame for this, its not the refs fault, its not Mons or Waterfords fault. They are moroons who havent got a clue about football and we allow them to make these decisions. It wouldnt happen anywhere else. Ive been saying for yrs when Derry play a team from dublin why does it have to be a dublin referee ( doesnt matter where he is from in Dublin ) it shouldnt be allowed. imagine if Liverpool played Man Utd and the ref was from Liverpool or Merseyside what would the Mancs say. A few yrs ago Liverpool played West Ham in the Cup Final, I think the Ref was Mike Dean who was meant to ref the game, he was from Merseyside and he personally declined the invitation to ref the final incase there was up roar. The ref is question here is a good up and coming ref and should NEVER have been put in that position to referee a high profile game

Now where's that map to Drom again?
Cobh might have a thing or two to say about that!

Why? Because they didn't bow down and let ye win comfortably? I really don't understand this logic.

Yes of course! Since when does there have to be logic involved?

no offence bluemovie salthills map of drom is hard to follow... because of it I made a wrong turn too early and ended up in the middle of nowhere out the other side of Salthill and missed all of our first half and 15 mins of the second half. their map didnt say that you have to take a second left after the hotel out the clifden road after a mile and a half all it said was a second left.. I am going to send a email of complaint to Salthill Devon to improve their map for future reference..

Best of luck! Seriously kildare might be gone but Cobh is defo the best away fixture in the league. Heres hoping you's get back up there.

Your goal was offside.

Relive your happy memories with the goals on www.bluestid.blogspot.com. Great free by Philly. Terrible clanger from poor Kevin Burns for your first. Very unlike him. Young keeper who has been outstanding this season.

Absolutely clear from the footage that our goal was in no way offside, that WJK was fouled and that the last free was for Brennan slipping on a wet night.

By the way, that's not my blog in case anyone thinks it is. I don't necessarily agree with the comments.
