Question::: are the players who play for the Limerick Oscar traynor squad INSURED ?????????

Surely there's better goalkeepers out there than Ian Bennis? Don't get me wrong, he was great goalkeeper for Pike, won a lot of trophies but is not coming to the end of his time?

He might have to play Sunday if Neville gets injured sunday morning playing in the Lawson cup for Pike.
But could someone tell me is there any league in the country where they have a team playing in the quarter final of the Oscar Traynor and the fixture secretary puts in a team who have 6 players in the squad down for a match that morning.
I wouldent mind but the fixture wasent even in the paper whats going on here with fixtures is a joke you wouldent see it anywhere else in the country.:p

not too many good keepers out there anymore,is,n bennis with fairview now so the keepers with the top two teams in the league are in the squad nothing wrong with that.was,n r.egan in the squad before what happened him.

it said on previous posts that pike requested a lawson cup match?with pike being left in all competitions i cant see there management being happy about there players playing an OT game when they have a big f.a.i match round the corner.there obviously the best team in limerick but no other team has anywhere near 6/7 players in the OT squad.I reckon there could be a bit of hassle on the horizon here?there hardly going to play 2 matches in a day?

:ball: with 5 or 6 of pikes best players playing sunday evening with OT squad, why have they a match sunday morning,, seems kinda silly 2 me. Could pikes game not be called off for the good of limerick soccer.Does anyone know why this is

Same with Pa Mullins, a rack of schools caps and has been superb this season but still can't get on it. Oh well Limerick's loss Pike's gain

do you remember when Robbie Egan left in 3 goals playing in the u21 oscar Traynor team, he phoned the oscar traynor manager and told him his nerves were shot and didnt want to play for the oscar traynor team, thats why he is not on the team FACT

also the OT manager phoned Mullins at least 4 times and Mullins wouldnt answer the phone FACT, for anyone who knows the OT manager he wouldnt go chasing after you if you dont want to play.

Surely its up to the pike players to play oscar traynor if they want to and so far none of them have pulled out so thats their perogative.
And you say the pike management are not happy is that why they requested a Lawson cup match sunday morning to disrupt the oscar traynor team preparation.
People should remember the oscar traynor is a national competition like the F.A.I. and players playing in it get Irish Caps.:p

Pike have about 16/17 signed and only have about 4 or 5 on it. I bet you Kilmallock have a bigger squad than Pike

he wouldnt be so shocked if he answered the phone for at least 1 of the 4 times he was phoned, he would have got his place but as you know Aiden Ryan wont go chasing anyone if he thinks they are not interested and rightly so, sure maybe he will learn from it and answer the phone next season if he gets the call.

Rubbish.............Pike Rvs looked for their Lawson Cup game on Sunday.
The ldmc agreed (with Dromore's ok) as Pike's fixture list is backing up, but only on agreement that oSCAR TRAYNOR players are excluded.
Their B game was switched to the afternoon to accomodate.
So bash Conny when he deserves it but not on this one.
