Yes, absolutely. So anyway, you haven't told us how you'd respond to a last minutee equaliser.
(BTW the point of football is to score goals. If you can't score more than one, and concede one, you don't deserve to win...)
" no problem with them celebrating" (SEE EARLIER POST ABOVE) it was the silly vitriolic posts on here that I thought so stupid. I hope that clarifys things for you on that score.
It was the view of pretty much all concerned that Pats were fortunate to get a draw (including one of your staff I spoke to) but hey, i'm sure you know better
now, time for me to move on and you to go back to your inflatible friend(s)

I'll ask again, and maybe you can answer for all concerned. How were pats “lucky”? Was it luck that made Quigley miss an open goal or poor technique? Was it luck that gave Bohs possession without creating anything or was it a mix of good defending and no vision? Was is a goal in the 92nd minute any luckier than a goal in the 2nd minute?
It was a brutal game that had at most 5 chances in it. We took one, you took one. Luck isn’t an issue

held seperate discussions (well chat over pre match pint) with several Pats fans who told me how unlucky Pats were not to beat Fingal - "we were all over them"," couldn't score" etc etc - I knew what they meant, as most know what I mean. Its a football thing

Its supporter logic the same way all refs "rob" every team who losses. Its complete rubbish, and I've said it consistently. I note you can't argue the facts with me.

Bohs had more of the ball, created more chances (although there were not a lot), and by most views were the better team. they looked to be getting three points (proven by the number of Pats fans that left early) but didnt due to a late, late strike. Good luck for pats bad luck for Bohs.
FFS Dodge since when has supporting football EVER had anything to do with Logic ?

Again, there was nothing lucky about that goal, and nothing unlucky about the way Bohs missed those (half) chances.
You're not accepting that, and thats fine. Hope you get a late, late equaliser on Sunday

Sod that, hope to be well ahead by that stage :D
For the record
- pats goal - excellent strike
-pats point - ill deserved and somewhat fortunate.
If any of the above is a problem perhaps we should just agree to disagree on this one.
