imo John Lester is not fat he is very muscley and well built and he would be a massive loss to the Town if he were to go.
Is that what you tell him when you are snuggling up on the sofa.

And I thought Magicme's Lester obsession was strange...

he's a premier division player no doubt!!!
Eh...no. No he's not. I saw him a few weeks ago, and he definitely is not a Premier Division player. No, no way. No way Jose!
we're not paying our players dual contracts. The FAI conducted a thorough investigation of our accounts at Shamrock Rovers request in the off season and nothing untoward was uncovered. The Derry saga would have given the perfect excuse to the FAI to make examples out of Bohemians if they had found anything.
And i guess if Sadlier says it, it must be true.
Still no denial of the fact Bohs paid some of their players for supposedly doing other jobs than playing football.

John lester is a top quality player and a top class bloke. He receives alot of stick from away supporters because of his so called weight but imo John Lester is not fat he is very muscley and well built and he would be a massive loss to the Town if he were to go.

not from where I was sitting in Richmond last year, Lester is a good first division player thats all.

For Bohs I wouldn't worry, I heard & read all this after last year's early exit, and nothing happened.
The two options for Bohs aren't go bust or be perfectly ok. In the last year, their debt will presumably have grown some more. To say that you wouldn't worry about them because nothing (majorly public) has happened in the last year is silly.
At an interest rate of 8-14%, the debt is growing rapidly daily
The days of 8%-14% interest rates are long gone, mrtndvn!
And just to add to the fun, Bohs' ARD - the date for filing accounts with the CRO - was two weeks ago today. They have 28 days from that date to file the accounts (56 if they file electronically). Many companies file their accounts as late as possible just to keep them out of the public eye as long as possible, so it's no particular concern that Bohs haven't done so yet, but it does mean that we should see how they did last year fairly soon.

But will someone please think of the trees!
I do hope that Bohs have got their excessive use of stationery under control this season!

Fair point.
Surely, surely Bohs couldn't have been that stupid?!

How do the Bohs fans on here feel about that comment?
Was it those who were booing that he's referring to or did something else happen?
terrible comment I think, loads of guys made the effort to do that trip and the rubbish that Bos offered up was a joke, no effort from full time pros. Has Fenlon even apologised to the fans?
Still no denial of the fact Bohs paid some of their players for supposedly doing other jobs than playing football.
read the first sentence of the post you quoted, genius.

Stu - The contention that has been made consistently is that Bohs are allegedly paying some of their players for supposedly doing other jobs than playing football i.e. coaching, barman etc. This is very different from the so called "dual contract" fraud that was uncovered at Derry City. The poster "Derry" was simply pointing out that you did not deny this.
these were some of the very issues that Rovers alerted the FAI to and which were subsequently investigated by the FAI. They didnt find anything. I dont know how much clearer i can be. If Derry wants to get hung up on semantics then so be it. If he wants to believe that the FAI turned a blind eye in some form of favouritism to Bohs then so be it.
Furthermore, these accusations have been answered and rebutted in other threads.

Exactly and of course, nothing wrong with any player doing other work for any club, as long as the work is genuinely being done and the whole set-up isnt just some Sopranos style "no-show" job to get around the SCP stuff ...

At least you haven't denied that Bohs are paying some of their players for jobs other than playing football. The only difference is the FAI threw the book at Derry and rightly so, but they hadn't the balls to do the same with Bohs.
Didn't Ritchi Sadlier tell Fran Gavan that other clubs were doing dual contracts, but Gavan didn't want to know about it. Who do you think he was talking about?
Didnt deny OR confirm that anybody was paying dual contracts EXCEPT Derry as it was proven. Prefer to leave the sad bitter rumours to other contributors (sans facts of course).
I have not got the slightest clue who Richard Sadlier was/was not talking about but have never seen any reason to believe it was Bohs, if you have evidence to the contrary feel free to put it up.
