Just back from that game. Phew, 8 goals. Ref gave a peno in end. Didnt see anything myself. The ref wasnt the best, and was the kind of ref you just knew wud give a penalty to even it up. Still trying to figure out how Athlone let that game slip......................

Michael McGowan can have no complaints about the sending off last night. Although he was not the last man it was a cynical foul to take down Cretaro as he was bearing down on goal. Although many refs would have given a yellow, McGowan was out of order. The substitution of Cretaro worked well for Bohs, as he set about kicking guys as soon as he came on in his usual way, and he ultimately got the reaction he was presumably looking for. Although the 2nd and 3rd goals came late and after the red card, 3-0 was no less then Bohs deserved. Good display against another lack lustre performance from Dundalk.

Normal order is restored as Dundalk get their obliglatory red card v Bohs.

McGowan can have no complaints. Didn't even try to go for the ball & just hacked down Cretaro. Bohs best performance of the season & should have won by more

We nearly had 3 or 4 actually ;) Two poor enough teams, very disappointing game.

To be fair never a dirty game. Bad foul on Raff and was one of a number by Dundalk players - he really seemed to wind them up for some reason. Good display by Bohs but Dundalk were suprisingly poor. I expected them to come out a bit especially when Madden got the opening goal but they never got started.
Despite a really poor first half the season Bohs are right back in the mix.

Back doing some work in Dublin & headed along to the Bray v Rovers game on Friday, was shocked at the fact that Rovers are generally considered to have one of the best teams/squads in the country, despite dominating possession (esp in the final 30 minutes) they looked a poor, poor side, Bray were game & had a go but were up against it once they were reduced to 10 men, can see why they're propping up the table though, got the impression that had they conceded one (for all of Rovers incompetence) they could have collapsed & let in a bundle after. Would put my house on Rovers NOT winning anything thsi season as quite simply they look lazy/compalcent all over the pitch & given the fact they had yet to score this was most unpreofessional IMO.

Not too sure of that to be honest, I wouldn't rule out Cork, Limerick or Waterford yet. 5 points is a very small lead with 17 games still to play.

Hell yeah, what a way to win it too. So happy. Really think we can go on and win it now, and if anyone from a club that isn't challenging for title silverware says they wouldn't be chuffed to win this thing, they're absolutely nuts. On such a buzz right now.
