Well done to Lisnagry the best team by far, the only team they did not beat was Ballylanders, drawing with them twice

was at this game lisnagry should have been 4 or five up in the first 15 min went into halftime 2-0.shannon started the second half better for about 15 - 20 min before lisnagry got the third. then sloppy defending gave shannon a small bit of hope to get a result before lisnagry tacked on another. good game in mucky conditions

Northside 2-1 Ballylanders.
Northside took the lead. Ballylanders pulled it back with a goal that shouldn't have been. The Ballylanders striker knocked the ball down with his hand and finished it. Ballylanders had a corner right at the end only for Northside to clear it up the field and score.
Its back on now Shannon, Coonagh and Ballylanders all still to play for. Going to be a great finish with a possible play off on the cards.

Ballylanders still have on paper the easier run in but todays results show the bottom teams can take teams off the top. Coonagh have dropped points to some of the bottom teams and so have Ballylanders and Shannon.
If it finishes Coonagh, Shannon and Ballylanders on a three way tie how will it be decided cause it looks a strong possibility at the moment.

I saw that too but didn't put them in the table because I taught they were gone. Sure that can hardly be fair, if they were kicked out during the season they shouldn't be allowed back in till the season is over, not only that but don't most teams who get kicked out or pull out get relegated to the next lower division?

They definitely won't play anymore games this season but it looks like they are set up to be allowed straight back into this division alright. They probably can't be relegated cause they already have a C team in division 4.
I remember I was involved with a team 2 seasons ago that finished level second last with Aisling C. We where both safe as Murroe had been relegated and Trinity thrown out for three walkovers. We got a call from the LDMC to say ourselves and Aisling would have to play each other in a playoff to see who else goes down. We said no way because Trinity where kicked out that season. We where then told that didn't matter because before Trinity where thrown out they had accumlated more points than us so technically they finished higher than us with the points they had won. We had to continue to refuse this and it was when we contacted Aisling ourselves to tell them the story they then refused to play also and the LDMC had to leave both teams in the division.
I hope they aren't trying to pull a fast one on whoever finishes second last in this division by saying Moyross have accumalted enough points to stay up before being removed.

Last year Coonagh got relagated from Division 3A, new management came in and asked the LDMC if they could stay in 3A as they needed extra teams to come up from 3B and their answer was " NO, COONAGH WERE RELAGATED" so they have to go down, that was fair enough true statment, so Moyross B have to be relagated and if they have three teams next season both B & C should be playing in division 4, i also remember that incident that Jofspring spoke about LDMC told one team that the other were happy to play a relagation match, when both teams spoke to each other about the match neither team had agreed to play it so Trinity were relagated. Amazing what they will try get away with.
On a different note Newport are not out of the running for second spot yet, they can finish on 44pts and they have Shannon and Lisnagry in two of their last three matches

They can have both the B and C team play in Division 4, no problem. It's only the Premier League that you're not allowed have 2 teams from the same club. Aisling B and C were in the same division only a few years back

Moyross going down to division 4 is the only fair way to settle all of this, even if they do have more points than second last and last, no other team were brought into disrespute during the season (well not to my knowledge anyway) so I think the teams that are left should rightfully get to fight out the rest of the season to see who goes down. But as Jofspring said already only one team should be relegated as moyross would be the other.

Do you not think getting thrown out of the league with 12 games to go was punishment enough for them? And let's not forget, none of the Moyross players were allowed to sign for other clubs, so they had to go 8 months without playing junior soccer, which is very harsh, considering it was only 1 player who mainly caused the trouble, and Ballylanders were no saints either from what I've been told. And if you put Moyross B back down to division 4 they'll just walk away with the league anyway so I don't really see the point

two clubs from the one club are not allow to play in the same division as ldmc has learnt from this years ago ,that is the reason corbally b will always be safe in div2a cant go down and the same with corbally c cant go up ,check it out,if moyross puts the b team back in they will be in div 3b

I think your wrong in all instances first of all if your in the bottom 2 your relegated no matter what also Moyross will have to apply to go back in to the league and if they are accepted they will probabley be put in to a division where a team has pulled out or to make up a 12 team league so they could be put up as far as 2 B.
Also they will need to be carefull this time out anymore indiscipline and the whole club could end up in trouble but having said that theres a good bunch of lads running things out there and i think they will have things sorted.

A couple of seasons back Shelbourne were 'thrown out' of 1B, but because they'd played a certain number of games their points total stood, so teams below them at the time still had to accumulate enough points to be safe i.e. the bottom 2 were the bottom 2 - and if any team failed to pass Shelbourne's total points they'd have been relegated

Personally I think this shouldn't be allowed. All it means is teams can get as many points as possible and then when they have got a good few together pull out. If you pull out or are thrown out it should be automatic relegation. Very unfair to make two more teams play way more games and fight all season against relegation.

Yes you are correct, Shels were thrown out for something similar. In fairness Moyross only played 9 games in the league and got 23 points which is excellent. Summerville C have played 19 games and got 13 points. So the maximum points Summerville can get this season is 22 points. So therefore Moyross gained more points having played less than half the games as Summerville, but yet they should get relegated??? That doesn't seem fair. As I said it was one idiot who caused Moyross to get thrown out, the rest of the players have suffered enough. Leave them in 3B, it makes sense

Moyross played 13 games. Coonagh and Ballylanders played them in the second round of fixtures. Them getting thrown out cost Coonagh 2pts and gave everyone else in the division 3pts. I agree its not fair to punish a team for one guys mess up but at the end of the day whether its one guy or ten guys that get a team thrown out it doesn't matter, there needs to be strict punishment I think as it will just happen again and again otherwise. Weren't Southend told they couldn't compete in the Munster Junior for 3 or 4 seasons because of an incident in one of their games. Look at Trinity, year after year they where kicked out of divisions by not fulfilling fixtures costing teams going for leagues and cups the chance of winning them. The only reason they aren't in it this year is because they went so far down they had to be removed. They cost Killmallock B a Cup a few seasons back and also messed up division 4 last year by refusing to travel into Moyross giving Moyross the 3points in the second last game of the season only to go out the following week and beat Lisnagry handing the league to Moyross. They weren't punished harsh enough over the years and continued to abuse the leagues. They had a cracking team but had more interest in GAA. I've said it before if a team pulls out relegation or a points deduction for the following season should apply. If teams can't commit to a full season they shouldn't enter. Easier said than done I know but at least it will keep some order to the league.
This is a tricky one though with Moyross having a C team in division 4. They will be reinstated to division 3B but to relegate two teams is wrong in my opinion.
