If you have access to Sky Digital - the channel called "MSK" (Channel 433) has the Pats vs. Bohs game tonight listed as being shown live free-to-air.

Put these settings into the Sky Box (under Services // System Setup // Add Channels)

Frequency: 11.488
Polarisation: V
Symbol Rate: 27.5
FEC: 2/3

If you hit "Find Channels" after that - you should see "MSK" and "MSK Extra" in the list - store both - then go into Services, then Other Channels - then select MSK

I'm currently watching a repeat of the Setanta Cup Final as we speak

Yep, MSK (or Premier Sports the offical name) is a new UK Free To Air satellite channel, I believe it is a UK offshoot of the current Setanta Ireland operation who are re-entering the UK albeit on a smaller scale to provide coverage of Irish sporting events for the UK market and other stuff they have rights to like the Australian NRL

I think they are looking for the channel to go subscription very soon so Premier Sports won't be free for long

After the "challenge" he put in to try to do Owen Heary at the Setanta Final - Byrne's the last player on Earth to go moaning and getting at the referee.

Sensible management by Fenlon there taking him off - looks like there was already a reaction/incident involving some from the stand in the direction of the bench when the player was being treated...

Dundalk 0 - 0 Sligo Rovers
14' - Red Card - Sligo are down to 10 men. Ross Gaynor won a fifty fifty with McCabe as he went away McCabe fouled him. He obviously thought it was a bit theatrical from Gaynor as he went back at him when he got booked. Gaynor ended up on his arse and the ref turned around to show him the red.

Bohs players are bunch of filthy animals, besides Quigleys tackle the game plan is foul foul score and then foul for the rest of the game. Not a chance in hell either side will finish with 11.

Honestly shocked S Byrne got over his Keeganaphobia and started to dominate the middle as soon as that happened we scored 3 goals.

From listening to the live commentary of Derry vs Limerick, Limerick are playing a very dangerous game and not getting a sniff of the ball. Don't even think Limerick have had a shot on goal.

wait till you see the tackle it was vile. A cowards tackle, his leg wobbled in the way legs shouldnt. The fact Fenlon took him as he wasnt sent off showed that. Some pats fans behind the bohs dugout didnt cover themselves in glory either.

bohs are poor, very bad going forward, no creativity no penetration even with all the attacking talent they have.

quigley is def getting a nice ban for that and hanCOCK will not be doing premier for a while with the amount of poor decisions!!

SkStu

we were f*cking atrocious. Missing a few players through injuries and suspension but nowhere near good enough. Heres hoping Nutsy sorts it out but i think the league is down to Pats and Dundalk. Rovers and ourselves have gone backwards, i just hope we can sneak third.

On the Quigley/Coughlan thing, i honestly didnt think it was that bad on first viewing but it got worse on repeated viewing. Hope Coughlan makes a full recovery.

Doesn't the fact that the ref saw and dealt with it mean no further action will be taken?

Not covered here at all, but it finished 2-2 between Galway and UCD. Cracking game; easily the best this season (maybe the opening day win in Drogheda gets the vote, but that would purely for the fun of winning 3-0). 2-2 at half time, but the second half was even better than the first, and it only finished scoreless cos of two superb keeping performances.

Thought the officials were poor; neither linesman seemed to understand the offside, and Galway's equaliser seemed to me to be straight out of the 1950s charge-the-keeper-into-the-net school. Our own equaliser was hilarious though, with Bazza slipping for a back-pass and being tackled two yards out.

Thought we maybe had more of the game - think Bazza was certainly the busier of the two keepers - but can't really argue with a draw in the end.

im pretty sure it does, I dont think a yellow card can be changed to a red but a ban for a red card can be increased from the automatic suspension upwards depending on the nature of the foul.

Great stuff by Pats again. Think quigley cost Bohs the game with his disgusting tackle. After that it was all Pats, and got our just rewards

Coughlan's bone came through his skin. Possibly career ending. Shame for a young kid who showed potential this year

well if nothing is done about this the league or the fai or whoever looks after the suspensions may call it a day because it was a horrible challenge that deserved a red card and 3/4/5/6 game ban!!
just because hanCOCK is incompetent doesnt mean that a player can get away with possible ending a young lads career..

Peter Hutton was very bland on his appearance on Setanta.

As player-manager a couple of seasons ago he really spoke his mind but was a shrinking violet tonight. Quizzed on the Mark Quigley challenge he said it deserved the yellow but "maybe" a red when he saw the slow motion replay. Then went on to say Mark is not that type of player.

He's proved he is that type of player to make a 'challenge' like that. Mainly because he did

A "challenge" indictates an actual chance of getting the ball, Quigley had none. Easily the worst tackle i have ever seen, actually calling it a tackle sort of intimates it was football related it wasnt! GBH suits it more tbh.
