AFAIK, Cork City have been able to sign players since the start of the season but some couldn't sign because they didn't get the international clearance in time.

Again, AFAIK, players can sign if they are without a club.

Gavin Whelan played in a match for the 'A' side against Shamrock Rovers last week.

Dunno if he's gonna sign but it shows Eddie is obviously seriously considering it.
