Into London and the train to Paris?
Probably cost the same, but you'd feel better for not giving those showers the money!

The flights are a rip-off and for someone unemployed like myself arn't worth it. What I am contemplating is renting a campervan.

Paid the Aer Lingus 320 return from Dublin as the draw was being made. Booked Tuesday to Thursday.
Easyjet via Luton and others are options. You will save money but have the hassle of spending ages in a UK airport.
Eurostar is a good bet too.

Same price is also still available with AF departing Tue and returning Fri. We're booked with Ryanair to Luton (got the one cent flights during the sale) and onwards to Paris with Easyjet (approx £50 return) from Tue to Thu.

It you get the Heathrow Express, it takes 15 minutes to get to Paddington. It's fairly expensive though.

How long does it take to get from Heathrow to the train station for the eurostar??
the picadilly line goes straight from heathrow to kings cross, it takes about an hour.
the paddiginton one is every 15 mins or so, but you need to get on a tube after that it doesn't bring you directly to kings cross.

Flying to London and getting the Eurostar to Paris is definetley the cheapest way to go.
From Cork it's under €200.

Unless it's against someone completely muck, (6th seeds), France play all their home games in Paris.

3 of us booked in, Shannon-Beauvais Tues-Thurs, 325 per head.
Hate to tell you this but three of us also flying shannon - beauvais for 0.2 cents per head. - out tue back thurs. Took a chance with ryanair free flights offer (after panorama programme) and used my new virtual visa electron card (no payment charge) and hit the jackpot!
Actually booked a total of 15 return flights diff combinations to uk for 3 of us to cover as many angles as possible.
Only downside is 4 hour drive to shannon.
God bless ryanair.
