I know I'll be accused of not taking a beating but how can Bohs justify 20 quid to get into last night's game. I paid 15 at the last league game there!
Talk about encouraging a crowd to stay away. What's so good about the facilities? Away women fans still had to use the stinking portaloos for God's sake. Not good enough. I had two with me who hadn't been to a game in years and it was embarrassing to try and justify the price. I would be fairly sure they won't be back and mainly due to price because they enjoyed the game.
I take it every other team is just 15 euros. Remember you can get into a premier league game for 45 euros and a cheap Ryan air flight. Any wonder there was such a poor turnout. It's really taking the mickey.

Hasn't it been 20 all season into the Jodi, and 15 into the Connaught St?

I agree though, 20 is too steep

They divide their games into category A and B I think. A would be 20 into the jodi and B would be 15. Im guessing Sligo were category B for the league match and paid 15 whereas in your case cork would have been category A and you would pay 20. Bohs must have bumped the sligo game up to 20 for the jodi because it was a cup semi. Not the brightest idea I wouldnt think.

As the match went to exta time Bohemians would like to ask all fans to forward €6.67 to Dalymount Park to cover the exta-time.

Don't worry it will be a while before Sligo need worry about a semi final again :D On foot of complaints from many Bohs fans over the 20 euro charge the board brought in the Cat A and B scheme as outlined by several posters. I think most agree that 20 euro is a lot for LOI but obviously not for Liverpool 3rd team

Yeah, "minimum" is the key word there. Heads off any complaints about, say, League Cup First Round games being E15.

Without doubt the biggest nobends ive come across stewarding in the LoI, ohh and they are sharp too, do you know that abusing Jason Mc Guineass for being a racist is actually racist in itself?

It's not hard to see why Bohs have **** poor attendances really. I asked 3 different stewards something last night and was treated with contempt every time, once by an official at the gate.

I felt about as welcome in Dalymount as period in the bedroom last night.

Bohs can **** off, the sooner they do a Shels/Drogs/Cork the better for Irish football.

After this year it will be a long time before Bohs have to worry about Premier Division football. There might be no ground left to play in soon. Every time I hear about Bohs money problems and their fans efforts to raise money I think of Sean Connors tapping his arse pocket and laugh. Have ye wrote out his big cheque yet?

Plllllllllllease let us know what the first Division is like ? Bohs have not had that pleasure and I don't expect we will next season either. Gets a bit tedious listening to "fans" going on about BOHS financal problems as if they were unique - not sure where you're reference RE Dalymount comes from so presume it is the usual small minded drivel spouted by losers

Now back to your attic please we have a treble to go for :D

Hmmmmm having had the pleasure of visiting the showgrounds (and Sligo in general) I can see where your high standards come from :D Of course I know the result had nothing to do with the range of Sligo moans on here, just a coincidence.

Hadn't intended the thread to turn into an anti Bohs one!
Indeed we are not used to the Nou Camp. But that wasn't the point I was making. The point is we charge 15 euros into games, your club decides to charge 20 on Monday night which is a rip off for the quality on show at any League of Ireland game. How is Dalymount worth an extra fiver??There's no excuse, just greed as far as I can see. Your half empty ground was testament to that.

Da Real Rover
05/08/2009, 10:15 AM
Its not fair to blame Bohs fans for their stewards.
But I will certainly be doing my best to avoid Dalymount for as long as I can in the future, 20 euro in and the ignorance of those stewards leaves a bad taste, they are as thick as pig ****, by far the worst stewards I have ever come across in the league.
Its slightly immature to fob off some genuine grievencess's with Dalymount as just "bitter" after the result, believe me we are well used to losing his season.

It'd only be greed if they were rolling in money. Bohs have obviously decided they won't be getting new fans so are trying to get the most money out of the existing ones.
