Signed a new deal at QPR: http://www.extratime.ie/newsdesk/articles/10416/murphy-signs-new-deal-at-qpr/

With Julio Cesar on his bike, this should put him back as the #2 at QPR. With Rob Green unlikely to leave, you'd reckon he'll be a back-up for the foreseeable future, but hopefully the experience is doing him well. At 30 he's still not terribly old for a goalkeeper.

Wasted at QPR. Cracking goalkeeper, too good to be sitting on the bench. At 30, now is the time he should be looking to move and get first team football.

Dunne gave away a penno and got sent off. QPR one down.

Did anyone see QPR's losses? Their wage bill is higher than Dortmund's! Murphy is probably on a nice deal.

Green got injured on Saturday and Murphy came on. Doubt he'll be able to keep the jersey once Green comes back but another Irish goalkeeper playing at a decent level is handy.

He must have a sorer arse than Marsellus Wallace after all the time he spent collecting splinters.
