The view from the shed must be terrible. Waterford were better than us. We'll improve. Even adding Hughes, Molan and Tierney to the team will make a big difference. We were fairly shocking in the middle of the field. There are people on this site that have genuinely never seen Limerick lose a game deservedly. Wtf? We got what we deserved the other night, Scully certainly thought we were crap if his media comments afterwards were anything to go by. We'll improve boys, don't get too disheartened. :p

Couple of cops wouldn't go amiss if we're to run the free kids promo again (and we definitely should).

There's been plenty of games in the past we desrved to lose, and did (a few more we won that maybe we shouldnt have) but Waterford on Friday was not one of them.

The view from the shed is terrible though.

Have to agree with you about improving, but Gough is a bad ref and really does seem to lean towards the opposition so as no FAI croonie can accuse him of favourtism.
As regards the cops,i've been to games this season with about 400 in attendance and i've seen several cops hanging around yet Friday nights big crowd seemed to have none in or around the ground. The gurriers were out in force and took some enjoyment from the occasion.Pity.

Mark Gough is shocking. Not the reason we lost the other night IMO but the man is the worst kind of ref, a power hungry little man who only reminds me of Cartman as he desperately scampers around the pitch trying to force people to respect his imagined 'autorita'!

Don't know if the club had asked for a presence from the cops the other night. To be fair don't know if the club had envisaged such a crowd either. If lessons are learned for next time then all is well.

While it was good to have a crowd in,the behavior of the "kids"was a pain in the arse.Until the club have the stewards to control them, they should not embark on the tickets for schools fiasco. Also, the positioning of the stewards is a joke, can they not be on the corner at cie side, where the "kids"spill in?

Ya I would agree with you there. It kind of wrecked the match for me,that and the result, lets learn from our mistakes and move on

sorry gael ...20....think you can triple that,at least 50 to 60 little misfits running around the ground getting in plenty of practice before they graduate from the college of petty crime and thuggery in a few years time.no child should have ben allowed enter the ground without an adult,no child should have been allowed to sell their tickets outside the ground and and if 1000 were in the ground i would venture to suggest that quite a few of that 1000 did not pay, maybe at least 300.

Shame about the result, thought we deserved at least a draw. Nice meeting Zulu and co from here up in the shed for the second half singing shenanigans - Thoroughly enjoyed it :D

There was this one time above in Oriel when we were 4-0 down after about three minutes that we probably deserved to lose alright. :)

On the Waterford game can't see how anyone thinks we deserved a draw or better?!

You don't create any chances at home, you don't deserve a result IMO.

Limerick FC is going nowhere until they get their own ground(not some second rate hovel with dressing rooms you couldn't swing a cat in) and spend some money on proven LOI players(easier said then done i know)

Agreed (more or less)

I think getting Scully in was a big step in the right direction and I don't see any reason why we can't challenge at the higher end of the First Division in the current circumstances but for the club to get where we all want it to be (Midtable with occasional challenges at upper reaches of the Premier??) something fairly major will have to come up.

On the kids the other night, basically it was a good idea which worked a lot better than the club probably thought!! I can't say it spoiled the match or anything for me mind.

Am only throwing it out there aswell but with the situation in the city might it be difficult to get two spare competent gaurds of a Friday evening??

Bloody expensive too I'd say.

You'd be hard pressed to find two competent cops anywhere in the country.
