He faked a punch from an Aberdeen player who got sent off because of it.

I believe that you will find that he "suffered" from an non existant head butt from Charlie Mulgrew.

Yes, so what? I daresay the Scottish FA will discipline him for it. And if Rangers are finally fed up with him, they could always transfer to Leeds. He's already got goals in English Division 3.

No thanks. Leeds is near mullet free ...I'd like it to stay that way. Though there is just this one wandering about....

According to Laffs wiki Walter Smith has fined him.

Did you need me to spell it out for you, namely "And your point is?"

You really can't help yourself sometimes, can you?

Yes.

And?
And do you agree that it was disgraceful behaviour from a professional footballer or any one for that matter.

Fair play to Rangers for fining him, will make him think twice about doing it in the future. If only more clubs were so quick to address troublesome issues affecting their image.

Fair play to them. Notwithstanding the fact that he was playing for his club at the time, he didn't really do Northern Ireland proud either did he?

Personally I am amazed and horrified that any footballer would try to gain advantage in a football game by resorting to feigning injury.

Saddened, but it happens so often that it's difficult to be surprised.

Hopefully it'll wise Lafferty up. I'm assuming the SFA will suspend him for three or four games at the start of next term.

I was being sarcastic. Like you, saddened but not surprised. My point was that using Lafferty, stupid as he was, as a stick to beat the N.I. national team with is silly.

Ker-ching! Must be getting soft in my dotage :)

He's been a booking waiting to happen in most of the international games. That's forgivable in an inexperienced teenager playing Europe's top teams, but he should have learned after three years.

why has northern ireland got dragged into ... a rangers player in a scottish preimer league taking a blatent dive to get a fellow player sent off  different story if he was playing for n ireland at the time ... bit like saying roy keane trying to remove alfe haaelands leg a few years back didnt really do rep of ireland proud did he :D
