Another point I have to make Denis, is why do ya get wet on the station side when you could be dry and taking in the atmosphere of the shed, inspiring the team, via your vocal chords? :D

we did what we had to do and its all about the 3pts,however plenty of warning signs there so plenty work needed on the training ground, did not think MERVUE would be as poor and disorganised as they were given they have experienced people like glynn and herrick over them.

Considering we started the game without Wayne, Paddy, Danno, Jason and Davey Ryan id say we done alright with 4-1.

500-600 at a game on a horrible night, again not too shabby.

Fingal 0-1 UCD makes last weeks result not so bad so all in all a very positive night.

In fairness to Mervue their not great but at least they tried to play a bit, how often do we see the likes of Monaghan and Wexford come here and bore everyone to tears?
Next week will be interesting to see how much we've come on the last few weeks, sure as hell will be tougher.

Indeed the minutes are important.

This are the Mervue SUBS:

No 13 Pat Huban on for No 11 Alex Lee (68 Mins)
No 12 Rory Gaffney on for No 6 Gary Traynor (79 Mins)
No. 15 Noel McDonnell on for Nicky Curran (59 Mins)

The number 13 for Mervue was alright I thought. His best moment came when he picked up the ball in midfield, heard the shed shout "SHOOOOOOOOT!!", and he subsequently blasted the ball a mile wide.

Good times. :D
