The star magazine on the league was impressive alright. The only complaint i would have with it is that they used the old City crest in it.

the mirror preview mag is not near as good as the one in the star. only good thing with mirror is pocket fixtures list.

connor sinnott will be delighted to know he has turned into stuuy lawlor could not even get picture right.

neither mag had the 5 star crest mind you the LOI website can't be bothered to use it either

Yes, it's only 3 sentences before McGuinness's whingeing about players not being paid starts.

The one it the star was great. Pfai was pretty crap, and the pocket fixtures never came with mine:mad:

The pocket fixtures in The Mirror is handy alright as it has away games in it unlike the official LOI pocket fixture lists I got in Oriel the other night.

Does anybody know where I might get one of these in Belfast? I suspect that I'll have to go to one of the more colourful areas of the city to get one, find one of those shops that sells free state dairy milk, like.

I got both.

As usual, The P.F.A.I. Guide in The Mirror, will be my bible.
I was never a great fan of The Official Guide in The Star, but I
have to say, it's a lot better this year than other years.

I thought the PFAI guide was poor. Once I'd gotten through the Stephen McGuinness article on the first page I nearly wanted to throw it away.

Any chance to get the star magazin for me from Germany? So is there any possibility to buy it online?

Yep, same as in previous years, the PFAI one is never as good as the one in The Star!

Just reading the Star one, looks very well. Just a minor complaint, it always looks really lazy when there's a profile of a First Division club player and it shows him in his old club's kit rather than the club being profiled... this year's Longford Town picture is off Alan Gough in his Bray goalkeeping days..

It has Derek POender in his Shels gear on the Bray page and a picture of Philly Byrne from Sporting Fingal as Deansey ! shocking

I missed out on it, sent them a quick email yesterday and got it this morning.
