Dave Maheedy/Paul O'Donnell/Mick Shiels. Apparently. It's hard to be sure of anything when you're a Limerick fan. :)

have to agree with you there pimpong, Limerick should definitely have higher ambitions then Jason Purcell as their manager, nothing proved yet at Junior level. somebody with a higher profile would be great for limerick!!

Its been narrowed down to a shortlist of

Gill
Scully
Mahon
Hill
Ski
Noel O Conner
Aiden Ryan
Reynolds
Kenny Cunningham
Rafa Benitez
Batman
and The Lone Ranger.

Have we any idea who the next manager is going to be??? Club hoped to have named successor by 25th of March. Any progress because we badly need one which, was so evidant in the very poor performance the other night

I do believe that under the FAI licence requirements the manager has to be in place by Wednesday.

Could be wrong as I only half listen to people when they tell me things

Ya heard he was with Jack McCarthy alright. I wouldn't know what to make of him taking over to be honest if he was to. Don't really like the guy but he did very well with rovers which can't really be argued with.

They mentioned it on the wireless on saturday morning but Jack told them that Scully is used to a premier budget and salary and what Limerick could offer him is miles away from what he would want

But the players might like him especially if he brings Amy as his physio:D Actually the players might pay his wages for that

thats fair enough, if he can't work with the budget limerick are better off. Agree about if he brought amy though, can't see many complaints from the players there :p

scully would be a good appointment football wise, did a fine job at Shams, but how did he do when at kilkenny, were they rubbish when he was over them?

KK done very well considering the budget Scully had, fell apart after he left.

If Pat Scully was willing to slum it with us I would be particularly delighted. :)
