Well someone said on orielweb.com that Greene signed for Monaghan!

Nothing further is being released by the club at present so all speculation can be made in here not the official signings thread.

Thats because its not "officially official" yet! We have learned from the past not to release too much on our signings until they are registered as players have changed their minds before and rather than have to retract statements we would rather say nothing really until we have our squad sewn up.

The press pre-empted us on this so thats why I have put it as a transfer in here but that doesnt actually make it official as I am no longer the media officer and he is the only one who makes the official statements.

A load of semantics I know but just dont take everything said by the press (or me!) as official. When it is on our site it is official.
