Anyone in need of a bit of cheering up in these doom'n'gloom times would be well worth reading that laughable article in this week's Longford News. It mentions that our new loan signing Brian McCarthy is looking forward to meeting up with his new Longford teammates this week on their training camp in Spain and that they've a friendly match arranged against Lokomotiv Moscow. It appears the braindead journalist who wrote this got his/her wires mixed up with us and Bohs....Then again maybe it could have been worded as at our training camp in Ballymahon with a friendly arranged against Lokomotiv Westport!

Someone there obviously needs some 'training'.

Strange, he done very well for ye last season, as for Jamie D, wasn't great for us last season IMO, gave away to many passes..BUT..he is good when he gets his head into the game, Mathews seems to be able to get him to perform so hopefull ye get him instead of Drogs.:D

This weeks Dundalk Democrat says thta Gally isn't signing with us, he just asked to attend pre season to keep in shape. TBH he aint Premier Division material!very prone to a blunder a game.dodgy kicking too!

Alan Mathews has apparently been quoted in today's Drogheda Independent as saying that he's hoping to sign Jamie Duffy in the next 24 hours, they're also apparently signing Robbie Martin and Ian Ryan along with a few others including John Paul Kelly. I had a feeling that would be the case with Duffy.
