Otherwise, Cobh's A Licence is in trouble. That was how I read it. Kildare would still have a first division licence even if Cobh get one on appeal.
Saw on another forum (Rovers, I think) that the A League begins in early April. That'd make more sense. Maybe last year's was late because it was the first one.
Also, is an A team a criterion of a Premier licence? All premier teams had to enter an A team last year, I assume the same is true this year. I don't know if that's part of the licence application, probably a moot point though.

The U-21s league used always start late. Maybe they realised in the wake of Kildare's relegation that if you were going to relegate a team into the A League, it really should be a proper division. Also, I think it's bigger this year.

Only point is if it's a criterion, we've confirmed an A Team. I still expect us to be entering one though.

True.
Anyway, roll on 5pm! Going to miss Ryan's pub, but we can try get Bald Student's suggestion of a cycle v train race to Kildare back on.

He's not gone for the whole season like!
Be a good charity fundraiser for the club though. He could cycle to next year's game.
