Ive been away, although heard Raf has signed new deal, was this officially announced?

Its in the champion, said he rejected a move to st.pats and agreed a new deal with Rovers. Paul Cook also said he closing in on 2 new signings (Probably Morrison and Parkhouse). Exciting stuff to here.

This is excellent news. Definitely think Parkhouse will offer us something different. Most importantly though, Cretaro staying on and by the sounds of it Cookie as well.
With those two signings and the rest of the current squad we should do well.
Exciting times ahead alright. Any news of any players on the way out?

I was very doubtful of Parkhouse when the rumours started but i'm starting to think Cook can get the best out of him, we really need a tall striker.

Nothing confirmed but I see Judgie and Pat Jennings going and possibly Coleman. Don't see Jennings staying on next season or Judgie. If Coleman is sold to Birmingham hopefully we can use some of the money to buy a new decent right back. Will be a hell of a job to replace someone like Coleman.

Seen in a free newspaper in Roscommon that Celtic are interested in Coleman. Don't know if there's any truth in it or if they're trying to fill space. That's great news about Raf staying.

This has been known a good while now, but i'd say Birmingham are most likely to sign Seamie if he's sold.

Get Faz and McNamara back. That way we won't have to update the website.:D

Cracker! In all seriousness though, I reckon Faz would be a disruptive influence if Drogs were selling and he did end up back here.
What is the story with McNamara? Would he be a good addition to the squad? He wasn't bad for us but thats a couple of years now without playing at any sort of decent level, if at all. Sure there was the gaa but thats a different kettle of fish!
Anyways, he may not be interested himself.

I dont want Faz back, cost too much and we should move on!

i think McNamara left in the 'no part timers' regime but he was a good servant and solid in defence but the deterioration of pace in his game was obvious but would be a good backup though and probably a less expensive option.

Lads, i hear Glen Fitzpatrick has been let go by St Pats. IMO he's the best big man in the league. As it looks like Cook wants one. I know he'd be better than Parkhouse & still only in his 20's. Has a great first touch is a great header of a ball & holds the ball up as good as anyone in the league. Thoughts?

No no no, don't like him actually would rather have Parkhouse than Fitzpatrick who seems to have a poor attitude. Did yo hear any other players than may be coming in Brothel? I hope we start signing players fairly soon although probably makes financial sense to hold off.

The judicious placing of a comma in this quote would be most helpful/welcome.

My first though is that you're insane. My second though was that you're Glen Fitzpatrick. I might be right on both counts. 3 goals in 47 games for Pats.
