The original UEFA competitions club lincensing agreement mentioned that clubs who had become bankrupt, or entered administration were precluded from applying for european license for 3 years.

There's simply no way that UEFA would allow the FAi to remove this

But does the new one mention it?

Don't know. Does it mention anything about european sanctions?

They ruling is for stepping into administration.

Examinership is known as administration in the UK. I think you lads are buggered being honest and i would expect the FAI to sppurt and appeal for you like the IFA seem to have done but rules are rules without trying to be sarky.

We're in Ireland though, and Examinership is not Administration over here ;)

Listen nothing annoys me more than winning something off the pitch, both us and you Cork lads have two games left, lets have a right go at each other on Friday and try and settle this on the pitch and whoever get 4th best of luck to them.

Although if you do win we will have Marian Harkin in Zurich quicker than you boys will be back up Pa street after the game :)

More or less the same thing with different names , along the lines of Opel and Vauxhall, Bulmers and Magners , Fosters and p1ss.

Probably also worth noting that the fact the FAI have come out and said they want to force Cork into Europe means the rule is probably still there.

Aye, cause UEFA only cover these jurisdictions:rolleyes:

It is the catch all term to cover the situation.

To be fair think that is only too true. Didn't think cork would be in fourth or even fifth at the start of the season. So winning the setanta cup and finishing 5th isn't bad:D
Hopefully you will have one of these on Friday :(

If Mathews is still in charge (which seems doubtful) i'd gladly give Europe a skip, things will be tight next season, it'll be a few seasons of re grouping for us.
Our main focus should be on getting back into the Premier Division ;)

Aye i probably will:(

I plan on getting fairly well on thursday night, so friday morn will be hangover time. What better hangover cure is there than signing for 90 minutes and watching your team sneak a win?:D

I'll be shocked if we're not banned tbh, delighted but shocked.

All we can do is try to finish 4th and then wait and see. Would prefer if they just told us now though
