I doubt the Rovers back four have played better this season. Cork never really threatened from open play, only from frees and corner kicks. Referee was cat and hadnt a clue. If a Cork player had gone down in the box at all he would given a penalty. Better team overall and has the second half went on, looked like they might snatch it. Great chance for Cretaro at the end.

Great trip.Kinlay house:D

Could have nicked it at the end all right. Cork had the possesion but couldn't break us down. At least there's something to play for next week and there should be a big crowd.

Galway to sligo to dublin to cork to dublin to sligo to galway in a few days:D

Kearney went down in the box once in either half.

His own team mates didnt even appeal for a peno.

Seamie's fall was ah...let us say, a coming together that was rightly not given as a penalty.

Having said that the second one looked a defo penalty through the torrential rain, will watch again carefully tonight on MNS.

Good point though and great to see the lads come over and celebrate and thank the supporters at the end.

Also nice touch by the Rebel Army giving Rovers a standing ovation off the pitch at the end of the game.

They waited until after the team had thanked the Rovers fans and then applauded them and the Rovers players acknowledged them in return.

As Van Morrisson sang in his song Coney Island....wouldn't it be great if it was like this all the time.

Also a little disrespectful to Rovers to be fair , like we are some plucky minnows who gave their giants a hell of a game
