what boggles me is that here they have a experienced (football clubwise) company striving to save them as a club ,doing his utmost to find a way to proove to a judge that DUFC can be a viable sustainable business,and instead he's running around chasing stadiums,intercounty politics and fantastic appeals and instead of trying to show that they (supporters) have a voice and are willing to step into any void,they are sitting around waiting for soundbites from Hoey and co about possible stadiums and pure bluffs.At what point do people start seeing whats in front of them.
I get what Hoey has done ,and its laudable,but right now he's like a soon to be ex wife.players are not being paid ,clubs on the brink of existance and bills are mounting up and will get worse with seasons end and no revenue,yet all they seem worried about is a new stadium.Drogheda fans need to get real and get organised to at least try to save their club

look stu, we finished second bottom (just ahead of st. francis) around 2000. we know what the bad times are like, but, unlike UCD, we now also know what the good times are like.

If you are predicting a future with no LOI football in drogheda, you are mistaken.

Can I just interject by the way to say that the rather unwieldy and contrived headline to this thread is not my original one, but was presumably changed by a mod so as not to have the thread dumped into the Drogs forum. Thank you. :)
