Cork City went down to a 1-0 away defeat to Sligo Rovers. In an even contest, home advantage proved crucial for Rovers as the home fans roared their team to victory.

Drogheda 1-2 Cobh Ramblers

Cobh stole the victory in the 88th minute. Having gone 1-0 down Cobh battled back to steal a win. Both teams missed open goals.......one each!:D

This game has so many flaws it's unreal:D. For Pat's first the ball went right through a Cork player as if he wasn't even there. Nearly equalised with a nice lob but keeper got back just before it crossed the line:(

With similar team ratings this clash was always going to be a test of the players ability and the hours they spend playing the game rather than the skill that comes with better teams and once Derek Glynn scored and celebrated by doing a summersault it was clear that gilberto_eire never turns his PS3 off and that I hadn't a hope in winning because from playing online you learn that the guys who know all the fancy celebations, know all the fancy tricks!

Bottom line I was crap!

Unlucky not to take all 3 points having lead for most the game and having had most the possesion and shots.

Sickned to lose to an 88th minute break away goal after just hitting the post.

Could have scored alot more.

Absolutely torn to pieces in this one. Couldn't get near Galway, they won every tackle and header. Where in control from start to finish.

Was great to see so many online last night playing. I am gonna set up a Football Club tomorrow in Fifa, that way after our league is over we can play TOGETHER online in a league. Cold be fun. Thoughts??

St.Pats 2-1 Cobh Ramblers

Pats grabbed a late winner after Mark Quigley pounced on what can be only described as a "hospital ball" by Cobh Ramblers substitute Alan Carey.
Pats went 1-0 up and Cobh were denied a certain equaliser by the outstretched leg of Damien Lynch who hooked the ball out for a corner away from the incoming Davin O'Neill after Ross Gaynor had hit the bar with a header.
Cobh equalised in the 80th minute with a well taken goal from Gaynor only for Alan Carey to fcuk it all up!

No offence to the lads with last night but it was a joke in fairness, should have won all my games. Was 2-0 up on Pats and should have added a 3rd bar dreadful finishing, then he gets two breaks with Quigley and scores them to snatch a draw.

He's a decent player so i'll take that with a pinch of salt, but the lad who picked Bohs?... no offence but i'd wallop ya bout 10 nil with even(decent) teams, i rounded his goalie and TAPPED shoot and my player cleared the crossbar, just shows the handicap us lads with useless teams have to put up with.

Crowe against the GUFC defence is 10 times worse then Ronaldo against slow players(and thats bad) he got one of those goals where the ball comes over the top, and the defender stalls allowing a quicker player through ahead of him :rolleyes:...so annoying!!
Considering he lost nearly every game and the sitters my players missed i was seriously ****ed off about that one

He got one shot and scored and my players missed chance after chance and he gets another undeserved draw, it's beyond annoying at this stage when your players miss from past the penalty spot :mad:

Bit harsh in fairness! I know I'm useless, but I thought I played alright in that game. I had 3-4 really good chances and had the majority of the posession! You make it sound like I scored with my only touch of the game!!!

Rovers 2-2 Galway last night as well, is another result, probably fair, good comeback by Galway in the second Half.

Rovers 2-1 Cork was my other result, with Cork's keeper in flying form!:D SM's hacking tactics didn't work well from the start, chopping down Raf right from the kcick, off who then proceeded to bury his free-kick;)

I had pressed square to clear the ball and then it switched player automatically and slide tackled you instead, I hate when it's slow with reactions like that:mad:.

I'm the exact opposite, i'm doing a course in Castlebar and have my PS3 down here with me, so when i'm home for the weekends i can't play, might stay on here an extra night cause the cup game is'nt till Sunday, so maybe if i can catch ya Thurs/Fri' and we'll get our 3 games out of the way?

Yip...can play anytime thurs night or friday afternoon til 4ish or so. Would be able to play after 10 or so then.

Just to mention 2 things:

1) Ramblers scored before a Sligo fella could touch the ball

and

2) It wasn't till I had the 2nd player sent-off that I realised I had gotten the 1st player sent off!...........I thought I looked slack at the back!:D
