I dont blame J Carey its not his fault hes getting these premier games. Hes doing his best but its just the fact his best is nowhere good enough for premier. I blame the person/people who are giving the premier matchs to the likes of these referees when in some occasions they have the TOP refs in town doing lower divisions. why not have your best refs doing the top matchs. It makes for better games to play in/watch because its not all centered around a bad referee, less complaining that the ref was not good enough and less excusses that the ref cost us the game over a bad decision.

We have about 6or7 good refs in town why not try keep them doing the top games. It shouldnt be to hard to sort out

Eh, that's all well and good, but I've had numerous encounters with Mr Carey and lets just say, if you're not from the country, you're getting screwed.

All sounds good but isnt it Paddy Collins who appoints the referees, should the referees themselves not put that point accross to him, makes sense to have the top referees doing the highest level games and newer and inexperienced referees doing lower divisions to gain more experience, which is done in most other leagues !

Thats all the more reason to have these top refs doing the premier because is a much better standard, more experienced and they wont intentionatly set out to screw a team or person (im not sayin that J Carey set out to do ye)

But we are not most league. The LDMC seem o do things thier way which isnt always best but its thier way or the high way.
I agree with what your saying about gaining more experience in lower divisions its common sense but it doesnt seem to be done for whatever reason

3 goals were disallowed as the third was a free kick from Frank Lee which he disallowed. Aishlings back four did play well but all they had to do was call for offside and he gave it as he judged them all from the half way line.
If the two incidents you mentioned of players being sent off the two Aishling players should have gone also. The Balla goal did come from a free kick but desevedly so. The full back not taking a throw in hardly effected the game and the Balla supporter as you call him actually picked up the referees whistle and handed it back to him.
The conduct of Aishlings right full was also terrible as he kicked a second ball onto the pitch as he was trying to get back to defend and called the ref to say there was a second ball on the pitch so as to break up a Balla attack

Aisling (Jason Sheehan '60) 1-1 Balla (Gareth Ryan '87)
Take off your Balla blinkers Centre Half....I was at the match and was appalled by some of the tackles that Balla players were resorting to when they went behind.Time after time , I've seen ye this and other seasons resorting to this form of thugary. It was only because of a weak and terrible ref that Balla didn't finish the game with 8 or 9 players..
On the footballing side, it was a very good game with a draw probably a fair result. All 3 goals that were disallowed were the right decisions (2 offsides and frankie lee taking a quick free when the ref told him twice that the free was on the whistle).
Im amazed that neither of these sides are higher in the table as both play attractive football

saw this game and how the ref did not red card at least 2 balla players is beyond me,but its not the first time a ref has been reluctent to tackle problem balla players.good game but balla have a discipline problem which will always prohibit them winning one of the big two trophies.

corbally 2 regional 0
granville 2 dromroe 2

great result for corbally big 3 points.
is a point enough for granville? dromroe were 2-1 up going into the last ten and conceded. granville have corbally up next IMO they have to collect all 3 points there kilmallock dromroe and corbally all at home and with 2 of them played they picked up 1 point

aisling 2-2 wembley.
aisling 2 up with 20mins to go.gifted wembley 2 goals with sloppy defending when the game should have been over.aisling will be disapointed not to have won this game although you have to give wembley credit for battling to the end and getting a result.a good end to end game for most of the 90 mins with some good football played by both teams.aisling got a penalty in the first half which they missed.10mins later derek hogan was clattered in side the box.for me it was the most stonewall penalty ive seen all year.the ref waved play on.(john mac)the only reason i can think of why he didnt give it was that he gave one 10mins earlier.still a bad decision though.you cant not give a penalty because of one given earlier.

Carew are planning to set up underage again, So don't you all be worried about the waist of Money and remember the NRA just didn't give it to us, It was in exchange for our old pitch which a lot of hard work went into to make sure Carew got what was deserved. I would suggest Starbar that you worry more about your own team and their grounds as Carew will be fine. We have a lot more of a development planned do you think we would waist time and Energy if we had no plans for the future. As Mister Ed said Carew had one of the best underage in the past and we will again. Also it's not just Albert, Gordon & Co that draws the players, A lot of people are attracted by the facility and we also have a lot of good young fellas signed.

carew have a fantastic facilities and it would be great if they could get an underage set up going there, large pool of players and young lads should be available to them considering the large catchment area surrounding them

i think their safe now after the win against corbally but another win just in case, i reckon it'll be kilmallock and granville to go down but a couple of big weeks now and we should have a clearer picture of how it'll go!

all that being said your gonna need a lot more helping out with the underage, it would be great if they got the underage back, my brother had to go to the boro to play ball and cant play cos boro have no team for him and he has to watch his friends every week as he is just over age, maybe the future is bright after years and years of no proper facilities and hopefully the right people to organise the club
