What would anyone want broadband for anyway? Must people sue the web at work/college & probably wouldn't use enough at home to justify?
Some people in West Dublin (Tallaght to be precise) are part of a test group for NTL. theypay 25 Euro for always on Broadband. Not prohibitive by any measure..

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
I work from home. I could post a long rant on why fast, affordable Internet access should be viewed as a right and not just an aspiration, but I don't have the energy.Originally posted by A face

I've had Broadband at home for a while now and is great, especially since I don't go to College and don't like using it that much in Work as it is prohibitive of what you can look at and especailly Download (XXX ) such as Software and Add ons.
Also using Kazaa Lite is a joy with the aul Broadband! (And Anti Virus software of course).
NTL, £15 a month for medium Broadband, buy a Cheap Full On Broadband modem and you get full on Broadband instead.
I'd rather die laughing than trying!
broadband is the bizness. i had the old 56k dial up before and watin for it to dial up and connect all the time was a pain
u download wat u like, wen u like. for the bigger files like movies, its essential. and u can also still surf away while downloadin
i say get it if u can

theres no cure for the League of Ireland bug. spread it :)
I'm gettin ADSL off eircom soon.
Fixed rate at E54.45 a month and when you consider I run at least that on 56k...
I have it here in Dungarvan (broadband) as it comes in with the cable Tv. its €36 ruro a month. The reason i was asking is (a) out of curiosity and (b) myself and the brother whos in England and has it too play a few games over the net, so anybody here who has it is welcome to join us. Last few weeks weve been playing Grand Prix Legends (although you probably need a wheel to play it well). Anybodys free to join us.
Tis good fun anyway
