Avondale were awful, worst performance i've seen from them in a long time.
Dale scored after a minute and sat back after that. Then Castleview got a pretty dubious penalty but the post intervened. Early in the 2nd half Avondale doubled their lead against the run of play but shortly after View got one back from a corner. Castleviews dander was up after that and although they had a lot of possession never really threatened. Avondale couldn't put 2 passes together at this stage but as it was so cold I was praying to God Castleview wouldn't get an equaliser though they probably deserved it.
Fraher scored a breakaway for Dale near the end to seal the win and the Donie Forde Cup.

How bad for Avondale, play like that and beat the Champions 3-1. I think Castleview will be quite pleased behind it all though. From what I could see Castleview have nothing to fear in Avondale, maybe it won't be so hard for them to retain their Title after all!!

Rockmount draw 3-3 with Hall after leading 3-1. Should have had it sewn up way before last min leveller.
The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.

The league looks very open this year in particular, everyone seems to be beating each other. It still hasn't settled down yet and we're already into December!! Although in fairness to Avondale they seem to be getting good results week in week out.

Rockmount hammer UCC this afternoon, 3-0. Alan O Connor got 2, Beech got a cracker. Got fiesty at times, Mount always in control however.

Nice one, roll on Intermediate cup next weekend, tough one away to Bangor.

No, I think you'll find it's Castleview's to lose since they are the current Champions

A fresh Castleview get to play at home to a wounded Rockmount team on Sat at 2 or 2.30. I'm looking forward to this one, I imagine View are strong favourites so Mount will try and limit the damage against such adversity.

    I hope for a draw....

Billy's boots is prob shaking with nerves somewhere....perhaps we could all meet. I'll be the one with the pink rose kissing Billy Cronins arse, hee hee, what an image that induces.

You'll have to support Rockmount surely...

Brian Kerrs arse one week, Billy Cronins the next.
As a northsider i'll be torn, best just to weigh up the opposition.
