Well they are wise enough to know '' The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore'' so the FAI should '' Make It Easy'' on themselves and sign these guys up. With regard to John Joe O'Toole, now we have a player in a green shirt who can score, can the FAI mad scientist division clone him please?

Just saw O'toole's goal - a good header.

What strikes me most about him is his physique. He's tall, rangy and athletic.
    Just what we're missing.

As is Chris McCann another excellent prospect who scored again yesterday and is a mainstay in midfield of the form team in the Championship at the moment.

And he really should have been starting for the U21s last month. Only Givens could miss that one. If his opinions of a manager's ability is anywhere near as deluded as his opinions of his player's talents then we are in for a tough few years.

Sean McCaffrey missed it as well, he didn't play him in the game against Montenegro. I think Givens only had one training session with the U21's, if even that, before picking the side, so he didn't really have a change to develop an opinion of McCann.
All goals, yellow and red cards tweeted in real time on mastodon, BlueSky and facebook

It's not as if McCann just materialised before the Montenegro game! He's been around for ages and it's quite unbelievable that he's barely figured for our underage teams - ever.

On the mark as usual Stutts. McCann has been mentioned on these boards in a positive light for over 2 years now and has been a regular for Burnley during all that period well before anyone even heard of the majority of the other players in the U21 starting 11.

Central midfield looks good to be our strongest position in the future.
