The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
I remember the admission of Derry to the LoI. It gave the league a huge lift at the time with a large following Derry had.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
