    Reeling in the Years

    Well Lads,

I was wondering if anyone might have a copy of the 1988, 1990 or 1994 "RTE Reeling in the Years" which features the Ireland coverage of the Euros and WCs

You can downlaad the actual show at here

If your not a member you have to wait 1 hour or so between downloads. One the 3 files are downloaded for e.g. 1998. Click on the first one and your zipfile software will pull them together.

I found them through the website. Its class
    [QUOTE]

class. ive been wanting to get the whole collection for a while now - absence makes the heart grow fonder etc etc...

for a technotard like me... how would i get these from the website to a dvd?

download them onto my PC and "burn" them onto a blank DVD??
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Yeah I guess that will work, your dvd player would need top be able to play the file types. e.g. .mpeg.
You could also use a media player that has a scart plugin for the back of the telly. Freecom make very good ones but they are about £180. Im sure there a cheaper ones out there.

    technotard.......love it

It wouldnt work for me. Dissapointed as I love that show.
I think I should the parachute, because I'm great.

In fact, I think I should get both parachutes, in case one doesn't work.

If you have first downloaded the 3 files (for any year) onto your pc.
Then you need a software program to simply un rar the 3 rar files.
After you have finished the unraring, you will have one joined avi file for the whole show.
Are you able to unrar them?

    SkStu
The files for each year are already made smaller/shrunk in order to be more easily downloaded. Imo, they are best viewed on a computer screen.
Use normal pc software program to view the avi file with.

I think the best bit is when O Leary is just about too take the peno the music and after he scores the fans dancing on the streets I was only 7 at time but it makes the heart stop some of this stuff. Fantastic.
